Akron QB Getsy threw for 3,000 yards and 19 touchdowns on the year and he likes to spread the ball around. Memphis gives up more than 260 yards per game through the air and the Tigers do not put pressure on the quarterback with only 19 sacks this season.
Akron gave up more points than they scored this season, allowing an average of 23.3 points per game. They will have their hands full with Memphis RB DeAngelo Williams as they are also not very adept at shutting down the run in allowing more than 140 yards per game.
Seems to me like the scorekeeper is going to be kept busy.
