Have to agree with Acer here. The Pats are finally healthy, they're hitting their stride, and this is a VERY big game for them, whether people realize it or not. You're right, the line has moved big time in favor of NE. And I'm sure a lot of that is Joe Public who has no idea what he is doing. But isn't it possible there is some sharp money there too? The line opened far too low in my opinion, because the books didn't know if NE starters would play. Had they known they were going to play all along the line likely would have OPENED at 9 or 10. I'm not sure why a terrible team plus the points over a good team is ever "free money", but good luck nonetheless.

I'm not picking on you personally, but if you keep making all these "picks". I'd totally recommend you to refrain yourself from making them.

You really are begging for a ban. If you want to criticize, do it constructively. The only criticism I have for posts like this is when you post your pick like an advertisement with nothing to back it up, then disappear when it goes bad. I'm sure EZ had his reasons for the play, but to post that he was simply fading isn't exactly a money making strategy this year. Fades are cashing at record low percentages. I just don't like the "THE BOOK IS NOT GIVING AWAY FREE $$$ TONIGHT!

JETS +7.5" stuff. It just sounds like a tacky ad. Especially when it could've cost other people money. But EZ is free to post his picks, and if this is the style he wants to post he's free to do it!

Great post thagame. I completely agree with this. My biggest complaint about posts like this is that there was no analysis to back it up. I realize an opinion is an opinion, but I just think there should be some kind of reasoning given. Especially if it's such a huge play for that person. I also agree with you on the criticizing part too though. I've made posts that I thought were just normal posts, then had someone come in and rip on me for my opinion. I could care less if someone disagrees me, but you would think they would give their reasoning rather than posting something that equates to "I think you're dumb." Like I said, great post. You took the words right out of my mouth.

Guys.......EZ$$ posts like this all the time. It's nothing new. Every post he does is this way. That's just him and the way he does it. Atleast he has the balls to put out plays and promote them so much the way he does. That's just not my style, but gotta give him credit. He does win sometimes also...I have seen it. Just don't like idiotic remarks made by some above who are "rookies" to the forum and think they are all that by cutting up on someone who posts a play and loses. Some of these "lookers" just piss me off sometimes! Don't have the balls to post your own plays...then we'd really see what they're all about!

I wasn't bashing his play and I compared him to myself with my thread titles and post...I just agree that a little reason could not only help back up his post but give us a little insight as well to help with a possible play for the game EZ is picking...sorry should have wrote a little more in my first post about it...I'll never bash a guy for losing cause it happens to everyone at some point and time

I'm fairly new to the site and I did say I would like to see some reasoning behind his pick. I realize people play these picks at their own risk, but the more someone pumps up their picks the more money people are going to put on the game. Again, it's up to the person placing the bet to decide how much to bet, but when you use 64 point font and say things like "watch and learn tonight" you're opening yourself up to criticism if you lose. I've had a few picks that I kind of went out on a limb on, but I had a pretty long write-up on them. I think at least that way someone can have a better feel of where you are coming from.

As for the criticism, I've always said that if you're going to disagree with someone's pick you should at least give some analysis. I did a little bit of that at the top of the thread. I never said a word after the bet was a loser, I simply posted my disagreement and gave a little bit of analysis about why I disagreed before the game started. I would NEVER mock someone for losing a bet.

I am not going to speak for some of the other rooks on this thread, but I gotta back Glenn up on this one....cause I think he and I are coming from the same angle but we didn't explain ourselves enough...Plus I know we post our plays and as a rookie for myself criticism is very much expected until I can hopefully work my way up the pecking order but even still if that happens I am sure to catch a little chit from time to time...but at least I learned the golden rule of never never ever use the "L" word...It scares me to even mention it
Sorry RS if I came off the wrong way and you to EZ for that matter
Hopefully we all will have better luck next week!
