Question about Packers?

I dont know why everyone is on the Packers.
Let me explain.

Coach Hol obviously cares about Alexander breaking the TD record because he put Alexander back in garbage time last week and took Morris out just so he could get the TD. There should be no doubt in anyones mind that Shaun will score a TD. So why would anyone bet on Green Bay at -3 when you know alexander is going to get a TD. You are already putting your self in a 10-0 hole here. And God forbid alexander doesn't score on the 1st td for the seahawks, the starters will be kept in until he does. When was the last time you can remember the packers this year coming back from a 10 point hole (when you throw the -3 plus the td) to beat anyone?

Seems to me the play is Seahawks or nothing here. Just my two cents. Let me know what I'm missing

I've been wondering the same thing. While this is a meaningless game for the Seahawks it doesn't change the fact that GB is terrible. I know they played Chicago fairly close last week, but that's only because Chicago let off the gas after they got up by 17. The word is that the Seahawks starters will probably play for about a quarter or so. And yes, Shaun getting a TD is pretty much a guarantee. We all know how fragile his ego is.

I guess I'm just not all that convinced that the GB starters are much better than Seattle's reserves? As much as I like Favre, the guy has regressed into a pretty bad QB. 28 picks in 15 games? That's mind-boggling. I know it's his last home game so people expect him to play well, and he very well might, but I don't think you can assume anything with him anymore. And the Seahawks have some pretty capable backups. Maurice Morris, D.J. Hackett, Seneca Wallace... all of those guys are more than capable replacements.

I'm not saying I am going to bet on the 'Hawks, just saying I would be very careful betting on the Pack.
