Championship game for me..



I have Shaun Alexander and hes only going to play one quarter. Here are my other choices.

Michael Bennett
Chester Taylor
Marcel Shipp

Yea i know they are not very good-What would you do? Start Alexander or another RB




I also have Drew Brees as my QB. He might get yanked in the 2nd half in favor of Rivers. Do i start Brees ot my other 2 choices are Simms-TB and David Carr-Texans?

try to pick up a guy like frank gore if your league still allows pickups this late in the season otherwise i would play bennett, or taylor
i would also start david carr at qb if i were you

it is the championship you need to play guys that you know are actually going to play

Doesnt Alexander need 1 more TD to break the record. Do you think they would put him in the 3rd qtr down near the goal line if he needed another TD?

Yes. I wouldn't count on Alexander for any yardage, but I do think they'll put him in a situation to get that TD and the record.

i play alexander it least you know he will get 1 td for the record. This is why you should end your league in week 16

But also went with Carr at QB over Brees and he gets hurt in 2nd qtr.. HHmmmm maybe someone is watching out for me.

I know this is really late, but Alexander is going to start tomorrow. It's pretty much a guarantee that if the Hawks get the ball anywhere near the goalline Alexander will get it. My guess is that he will get little yardage and the 1 TD.

I agree, he will definitely score a TD. The only thing is that there is pretty much NO chance he will score more than one. Holmgren wants him to break the record, but once he does that he will get him out to avoid injury. I'm not saying any of those other guys will score 2 TDs, but they will at least have the chance to. I don't think Alexander will.

The guys you mentioned have a greater chance of scoring ZERO td's than alexander. I'd stick with the "sure" one. Just my opinion.

True enough. I didn't mean I expected any of those other guys to score 2. Hell, there's a good chance they won't even score one!

He Needs 50 + yards for a rushing title he lost by 1 yard last year and you know he will get that TD
