Yest Herb called my house and talked to one of my daughters.The message was 'I know your father is behind this".I guess she didn't do the greatest job in covering it up but still pretended somewhat.But Herb did figure it out.Although I always send him a Christmas card I did send a guardian one too.Well,Detective Larkins looked at the 2 envelopes,same handwriting,postmarks,etc
So last nite we talked for 30 minuts.He cried and thanked the lord.Wanted to know why these strangers would send him these gifts.Wanted to know who are these "angels".Said this was the greatest Christmas he has ever had.And at that I started to cry. I told him the "angels" that sent him these gifts are mostly not mentally stable but have hearts bigger then anyone around.
There all good people and pray a lot.I failed to tell him we pray that the Giants cover the 8 pts vs Oakland or Bills are -1.5 today.
We do pray though. lol
Herb bought himself a flat screen TV on QVC.He had seen it many times advertised.Had told one of his attendents he wanted to buy one months ago.He knew all about it.So the other day without Billy even knowing knowing it he bought it with his credit card.It's coming in 14 days...The cost was $1600 plus shipping.With the rest he will buy a voice activated computer.Hypervion and Billy will talk on Tuesday.
When I first bought this whole idea up to Billy,I remember his words. "this will impact herbs life".
It has impacted more then his life.All of you have lifted him up a little.He has god in his life and his inner strength is motivating.But his faith in people have really grown stronger.
He wants to talk to many of you.He said "please let me talk to them personally. So again when the "dust" settles we'll see what we do.
And I've said this before..."talking to Herb is an experince".You will melt and without a doubt your eyes will water up.
