Cleaning Hardwood Floors

Looking to buy a good vacuum/hardwood floor cleaning type of vacuum. Have not been able to find any that are highly recommended. If you guys have any suggestions, please post.

for every gallon of water use 1/2 cup of vinegar, and mop.

Friends of mine sell these at their appliance shop. Come highly recomended.

A bit "la ti da", but mom seems happy with it for her hardwood floors and carpet alike.

Haven't used them myself, since typically when things get dirty at my apartment I just move.
