anybody else get bothered by the last 30 seconds of the game.

hell, game was decided, spread was decided. ND wasn't going to score again. i didn't bet the game so this isn't a bitch post.

i just thought it was a little weird that after the last play of the game there was like 22 seconds left in the game and the clock was running, but ball was spotted. ND could have taken a knee or run a run play or ended the game on their terms. instead, ohio st. goes running on the field led by tressel with 20 seconds left. i know the game was decided and nothing good can come from another play, but you didn't even have the ball. how come u decide to go on the field. its really not your choice in the matter.

again, this is super trivial and you can just chalk it up with all the rest of my useless posts, but for some reason it bothered me and no one has said a word about it. the camera panned to weiss with 20 seconds left and ohio st. is coming on the field. his look was kinda weird. again, it hasn't been brought up, but for some reason it bothered me.

sincerely,
worthless poster

Thought the same, and Weiss' face didn't look very thrilled to me.

Not sure why SweaterVest couldn't have waited 20 more seconds.

Dear Worthless Poster,

Notre Dame had no time outs left (and the clock was running) and it appeared from their body language that they were not going to run another play..

Actually I agree with you. I was watching the game with a friend and said wow, look at that, Tressel's walking across the field and Weiss still has his headphones on. :mj07: Why aren't the officials keeping OSU on the sidelines? If I was Quinn I would have run a play towards Tressel and run him over. I agree that it's trivial and all that. OSU obviously dominated the game, just figured it was a bit strange myself. Again, ND proves they don't belong in a major bowl game. :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Dirty teams do dirty things. As evidenced by the "class" of their fans. Its like tackling a receiver on a slant pattern. At least now we know they are taking orders from their poindexter coach, not just a bunch of lawless renegades

Vegas Baby !!
Keep deflecting from the fact that they got OWNED !!!

Dirty teams................. WHATEVER !!!

Maybe it's a Catholoic team thing. As father says: ON YOUR KNEES ALTAR BOY !!!!

Notre Dame had the position down pat. On their knees, with OSU balls on their chin !!!

So. Cal
thought the exact same thing

then i saw who the a-holes were running on the field led by their ahole coach......

never seen that before.....the team that is losing and has the ball decides when the game is over, not the arrogant fuk on the other side of the field

really wish they would have snapped the ball

BDB,

I'm neutral but had the Over so take this for what it is worth, Why the hell was ND dumping 2 yard passes over the middle with 1:30 or whatever left. To me, they gave up when they started dumping those passes off. Therefore, I had no problem with Tressel walking on the field.

they have a reputation as a dirty team. Showing poor sportsmanship, as they did several times today, particularly at the end, is indicative of a dirty team. Call it off topic all you want. Why dont you add to the discussion instead of posting little graphics?
