of all time.........neither team can score all game then when they both need a td they get it........

Trying to think of all the things that have to happen for that game to go under.......timely missed fg's

missed extra point.
then the safety to get the game back on the key number
fsu goes the length of the field on their final drive to MAKE a 47-yard field goal (that gets lost in all of this... all these missed FGs -- yet the one that tied the game was from 47 yards out.
then the psu chip shot miss from straight on.
then all the overtime misses.
then the sequence of TD/TD
id say this was the worst beat of the postseason, if i didnt have nevada and louisville, lmao.

Tough loss for sure. I thought the same thing as it was going on, even though I didn't play the under. This reminded me of the Miami/OSU championship game that went into OT. I had a friend that was in over his head and doubled down on the under (don't recall the #). For 4 quarters he looked like a genius, and then the OT screwed him. Just remember it could always be worse, hopefully you didn't have money you don't have on the game.

So. Cal
VaTech wasnt that bad of a beat in my opinion. I mean it was bad but worst of all time? worst of this season? How bout under on NW/UCLA or NW +3 with thier kicker giving up two touchdowns in the final minutes on onside kick attempts.

I have seen missed field goals, and intercepted passes with the game on the line but never have i seen 1 yet alone 2 onside kick return for td!!!

These damn kickers seem to screw me at every turn. From now on i think I might start my capping with the kickers and go from there.

It was an awful beat, had the under 1st h and game. That idiot defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews gets a big part of why the game went over. With 12 seconds in the 1 st half ahead by six psu already in fg range with no timeouts.put 8 guys back on the goalline, tackle whoever short of said goalline and I'd like to have seen Psu get even a fg off.But NOOOOOOO,Mickeys gotta be a maddog and blitz 8 guys leaving three back,It was absolutely stupid, but ol' Mickey wouldn't cede a fg,thats not macho enough for the moron.I repeat,it should have been easy for FSU to have forced Pennstate into a fg in that situtation. The starting line on this game was 51,so betting the 47 made me nervous, but the game still should have easily stayed under if you take a 3 vs a 7 the next to last play of the half.I liked the first h under in cal losing on a 42 yd td weaving in and out of tacklers on the last play of the h.Its not a game for kids in short pants someone once told me,and these kinds of beats recall those words.Dust yourselves off,and don't try to double up.Thanks for this thread,I've been tossing all night over the fn thing.

"Congrats to those with the under play
Was about to say ANY under play but I realized many got screwed in the firtst half. Anyways....we may be luck to get a 2 points with a safety here in the last quarter. I just got done typing this and there was a safety"..................

I dont know whats worse, me seeing this idiots thread congradulating us all on the under play as the safety happens, or watching these idiot kickers shanking attempts all over the place. Game should have been over(under) long ago. I knew I was focked when I saw this idiots thread pop up there. Decided to let this go last night, not say anything. Sleep on it. :cursin: Then I thought WTF, 38 posts :scared Whats wrong with this moron? Ok, now I feel better :mj07: On to tonights game :)

oh, that was just one in a string of bad beats this bowl season for me. off the top of my head... minny blowing 2 14-point leads, NW blowing a 22-point lead, SC blowing a 21-point lead (and those 3 were all the same day!), miami blowing a 3-point lead against lsu (ok, i'm kidding on that one), i've already forgotten the details, but i remember being pissed when i lost the iowa st/tcu under by half a point, louisville, and the under last night. and you'd better believe if there was a big comeback that fell just short, i was on that as well. iowa and georgia come to mind. so, how will i take a bad beat tonight? tune in to find out. :scared

I guess I have to join the club, luckily it was not a serious bet, only for 1/2 unit. But still...........funny thing is , as I was 3-0 with the unders so far, for the bowls, I was just talking to my business partner (he loves overs, would rarely if ever, bet an under) in the afternoon about how I hate to bet college unders for that obvious overtime reason. I told him it would be nice if there was an over/under line for regulation only. Needless to say, today was filled with "I told you so's".
I usually don't do too well during the Pro playoffs or the bowl season...........so I never over extend $ wise. I always preach that there are no bargains at the end of the year. It's usually true.
