Ohio St. -4.5 over Notre Dame: Buckeyes' defense will be tested in this one as Charlie Weis has had plenty of time to prepare. The problem is, I don't think Brady Quinn will get enough time to throw against a so-so OSU secondary because the Buckeyes will be blitzing like crazy. I like what Notre Dame has done this year but I don't see them in the same category as Ohio St. OSU's offense has become very efficient and they are finally starting to get the ball to their athletes. As long as Troy Smith doesn't turn the ball over like he did early in the year, Buckeyes will cover this number. They are too solid defensively and on special teams to slip up against the Irish.

I also may play the under but I'm going to wait to see what happens to the number.

Vegas Baby !!
I believe the OSU defense will be the difference in this game !!! I don't think that ND has faced anything even close to what the OSU defense can bring ! They're not playing a PAC 10 team this week! Look for ND to have about what they put up against Michigan, 17 points ! :)

Wisconsin/Auburn over 53.5: Auburn will have not trouble putting points up against a Badger defense that has gotten gashed most of the year. The big question is "Can Wisky score enough?" My answer, obviously, is yes. Auburn can be attacked through the air and Wisconsin hasn't been too bad this year throwing. I think they will throw downfield enough to get some big plays. Alvarez knows he won't be able to pound the ball so he will open it up early. As a double-digit dog, he has nothing to lose. Since it is his last game, I don't see the Badgers quitting even if they get down early. Late TD gives us the backdoor cover 35-24.

Florida/Iowa under 49: If you look at the numbers you see that both of these teams tend to play lower scoring games against decent teams. Iowa's totals in those games are 30 (vs. Wisconsin), 43 (Michigan), 37 (OSU) and 26 (Iowa St.). Florida's totals are 41 (FSU), 24 (Georgia), 38 (LSU), and 34 (Ala). I think we will see the same type of numbers between two teams that are very solid defensively and strong in special teams. 24-20 Florida?

Ohio St./Notre Dame under 57.5: I don't think its going to go much higher so I'll post it now. I think both Weis and Tressel spent more of their time preparing their defenses in this one. The Buckeyes will have to have some blitz packages so their secondary doesn't have to cover too long and Notre Dame will have to have some things cooked up to deal with Ohio State's efficient offense. I think we will see more field goals in this one and stay under the steamed up number.

Monday results: 2-2, -0.2 units

Bowl Results: 9-3-1, +6.7 units

Final Season Total: 92-65, +25.91 units

No picks for Tuesday and Wednesday. I grabbed Penn St. at -8.5 earlier and may buy some back if it gets to 10.5. I'm not touching the USC/Texas game.

No official picks today. Still waiting to find a FSU +10.5 to try and buy back some of my PSU -8.5. Eight and a half might be a little too much for Penn St. in what could be a low-scoring game. No opinion on the total.

Of course, I was referring to the side and total :) . Props are a different story...

Lebron James points, assists and rebounds -4 over USC total points: The Chosen One averages 42 (points + assists + rebounds) but went off for 52 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds last time he went against Milwaukee. I don't see the Trojans scoring more than 31-35 tonight since Texas should be able to move the ball and control the clock a little bit. I'll take my chances with Lebron going off with a big scoring night combined with Texas keeping this score down a little more than expected. I got this at -140 so it's a little pricey, but still worth it imo.

The Cavs game just ended and Lebron had 32 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. As long as Texas can keep USC under 40 in the second half we have a winner on the prop. No overtime!!! :scared
