Are there any commentators in sports that are any more biased towards a team than these two are with Southern California. I know that they do a lot of USC games on the west coast but c'mon, they were rooting for the Trojans during the entire game and when it was over, they were praising Vince Young and the Longhorns.

Kind of reminds me of Dick Vitale and the Dukeys in basketball.

I thought they did a good job overall. Lingered a bit too much about the Vince Young Kneed Lateral.

Keith is getting old and missed some calls, but hell he is Keith Jackson and I give him a pass.

it took keith jackson 10 seconds to realize that the xtra point was missed. he's senile and washed up. he was a great announcer but its time to let it go. every time he missed a call, he'd reply with well i can't really see that well using my binoculars. are you kidding me? lol.

Both have Pac 10 backgrounds. Fouts went to Oregon & Jackson to Wazzu. So they're VERY familiar with USC. But I wouldn't go so far as to call them "biased".

You've gotta be kidding me. Jackson, yes, but throughout the game I thought Fouts was gonna try to sneak down to the Texas sideline and give Vince a quick hummer the way he was drooling over him.

Fouts was pretty good... If you watched the OU-Oregon came, Jackson was biased to Oregon and Fouts, who is a graduate of Oregon was pretty darn good. Didnt Jackson retire like 5 years ago and go all over the country getting gifts. Give it up Jackson and watch the games at home. That way we wont have to put put with your Pac-10 bias. And how did the top 2 teams in the Pac-10 do. Big 12 2 Pac-10 0

Among Libtards!!
everybody should've known that KJ is a pac-10 homer.....but the way he called the game last night that should be his last......it wasn't even close to professional or objective at times.....he let his bias shine through last night and that isn't fair or right to Texas fans or football fans in general. I don't want to hear some old a$$, senile man rooting on air.....leave the rooting to the fans. I wish he would've stayed retired.....I know a lot of people like KJ but I have always disliked the guy.

I couldn't agree more. The inflection of Keiths voice was one of disappointment and almost disbelief when Texas made a good play. When he started saying stuff like,"he would have had 7 or 8 more yards if he'd have run outside" referencing USC runners,it was like he was wishing for it to have happened and making excuses at the same time. They both were rooting for USC flagrantly. My wife and I were laughing about it the whole game.

I thought Fouts was very good -- I just think the game is getting too fast for a 77 year old Keith Jackson to keep up with. Fouts helps him out, and I realize Jackson is a legend, but I thought Jackson was sloppy and it hurt the broadcast.

Might be time for the legend to walk away, it's been a great run. If you don't know that it's the end of the 3rd quarter and not a timeout, it's time to hang it up.

Thats a good point Blackman...I didn't think the broadcast was bad necessarily but i did think they played to their Trojans a little too much. No question Jackson isn't what he used to be. I guess you can't blame ABC for rolling him out for the big game. I am sure the Nielson Ratings were high for this game but you are right, it's time for him to call it a career.

Next year I think 2much should sit in the booth. He has plenty of opinion and you KNOW that he would create some good arguments with Fouts. He is always one to stir up some confrontation.

I like the one time right after halftime on Texas? first drive when after an incomplete pass, Jackson goes something like, ?now things are going the way they should ??the best players are starting to play.??Translated, ?The team I am rooting, USC, is starting to play better?..oops, Shit, let me make this sound better, {This comment makes no sense whatsoever}

22.8 nationally -- that's a monster number.

LOL about 2much making the calls in the booth. That would be must see tv.

I've always like KJ, but its time to retire.

KJ wondering why clock didn't move with 19 seconds left in game during Texas play,

BECAUSE it was a two-point conversion Keith!!

still overall, wasn't terrible, there are a lot worse.
