Washington team total over 17

Alright guys - first play of the new year for me - have a streak of 6 straight winning years playing sports (NFL, college, NBA, college bb, MLB) - so let's get another year off on the right foot!

I like this one alot to begin the playoffs...if you are backing the Skins i believe you have to feel they will put up at least 17, more than likely 20 or more...i took them at over 17 for the team total. Wash has scored at least 17 in 12 of 16 regular season ballgames...they showed earlier in the season they could score on Tampa - and I believe Simms will make a critical mistake or two and the Redskins D will come up w/ a big defense or special teams play. I like Wash - and now line is down around Wash +1 to +1.5 - i just feel that taking over the Wash team 17 is the play in this game. I can't see Wash winning 14-10 or anything. I think if they don't put up 17, they don't cover the game. So i will rely on just one factor - the points Wash scores - instead of also relying on what TB scores. Like their game earlier this season both scored 30+ and Wash lost by 1. Don't expect both to score that much - but i belive Wash wins this game, and they score at least 17 for the push, and more than likely 20+ today. Good luck!

Wow - can't ask for a better start to the game...there are the 2 critical mistakes i was talking about - just didn't think they would both happen in the first quarter! Come on Skins - keep it up! Let's start the playoffs off right!

Yeah nice to have the 17 but 17 won't win it - come on Skins - don't let this one slip away - just get that feeling that TB may pull this one out yet - come on Skins - we need a turnover!

Just unreal - 17 points scored in 1st half - 0 in 2nd half - so the team total pushed - however the Skins play comes in - so officially 1-0 (i don't record ties in my record - just useless) for the new year +$1,000...congrats Skins backers...

I do have to say TB had every chance to win that - and Shepard should have held on to that ball...Wash is LUCKY to have closed that out - especially w/ deciding to have the offense not show up...i mean why not involve Cooley? Or throw deep to Moss? Or run some screens to Portis or Moss? Washington will not be able to keep up with Seattle next week...their defense may hold Alexander to an average game - but Seattle should be able to outscore this team...I'll take any win i can get it though...
