I'm just sick of seeing refs making bad calls period - saw so many of them in some of the final bowl games - and let's hope the playoffs don't start out w/ controversy...

Even if the Skins guy did say something...at the very worst it should have been off-setting penalties. At the absolute worst.

THAT WAS THE GREATEST CALL EVER.
And I have the Skins.
THAT PRICK U OF M idiot came over talking trash and got in Pittman's face.
Pittman was doing nothing to provoke it. Taylor is an ASSSSS.
He deserved the penalty and the punch.
GREAT JOB Mike Carey!!!!!!!!!!!!!

regardless of the alleged spitting - offsetting penalties. you are not allowed to hit in a game are you. maybe there is a clause in the rule, if prevoked.......

Taylor is a dirtbag. I have no doubt he spit on if they ejected him.

Taylor should be suspended 2 games to start next year as well.

Redskins got a real class act there. Is he going to jail for that crap in the off-season as well?

Scary thought just crossed my mind...

The first time these two teams played each other this year, the Bucs score a TD at the end of the game...and then inexplicably go for 2....and MAKE IT....to win the game by 1. Gruden said later he felt it was their best chance to win...avoid OT and just go for it.

If the same scenario were to come up, would Gruden have the balls to try this again? In a playoff game? Makes no sense that he would go for 2 in that position...but he did it once. God that would be awful for Tampa bettors. Make it or miss it, either way we'd be screwed.

We need a TB score soon so that he doesn't make this decision.

I disagree. Take the pts here. If you miss it you get nothing. Then Wash only has to kick a FG to go up 2 scores. They don't even have to get into the redzone if all they need is a FG. Much tougher to move the ball in the red zone.
