I have not been around the last two week due to the fact that my grandfather passed away. It has been a tuff week for me and I need some time off to reflect. I will keep all of these selections in this trend so you can follow my progress. Here are my selections in the first game (Washington VS Tampa Bay) I may have a selection in the late game but now for sure. Let?s get this party started!

(3) Washington +2.5 -108

(5) Washington under 37 -108

NFL PLAYOFF ROUND ONE GAME OF THE WEEK!

NFL PLAYOFF ROUND ONE GAME OF THE WEEK!

Playoffs Posts 3-1 +5.45 Units

I hope that you all had a great start as well!!! Here is my top selection of the first round of the NFL Playoffs! I will have one of these games each round and have done very, very well in the past five years on these types of selections! I played this game at Pinnaclesports.com!

(15) PITTSBURG -3 +107

The road team in this series has gone 5-1 SU / ATS and we won't steer away from that trend here. Pittsburgh, which has won four straight road playoff games, sports a 3-0 SU / ATS mark against Cincinnati. Pittsburgh, which has covered six of their last eight road games, is well in rhythm. I like the way the Steelers, who needed to win out their last few games, closed in playoff ready form down the stretch. On the other hand, Cincinnati, which had locked up the AFC North by week 15, sputtered down the stretch with a bumbling loss at home against Buffalo and an ass whipping against Kansas City. The Steelers have proven that they can run the ball this time of year and should be effective against the Bengal?s defense. Quarterback Roethlisberger should be more confident this playoff year. On the other hand, we'll look for the Steelers zone blitz happy defense to disable quarterback Palmer from getting into his comfort zone with his speedy wide-outs. Take the Pittsburgh Steelers and be a winner!

Good Day & Good Luck!

Yes, it's great and to think that the Steelers took a knee on the Bangel 20 yard line rather than punch in another touchdown.

Ratslla....

Just saw your thread. Congrats on your great start to the playoffs. Some good things can help ease the sadness. My condolences to you on the passing of your grandfather. Hang in there. GL on the next round.

Ratslla,

Sorry to hear about your grandfather passing. Losing a parent or grandparent is one of the toughest things for anyone to go through. Glad to see you back and congrats on the stellar weekend!

I hope that you are all have a great day as well. Here are today?s selections. Round two here we come!

(15) Washington +9.5 -101

I realize the Seahawks, coming off a bye, are well rested and dangerous at home 6-2 ATS. The Redskins, which stalled out offensively last week against Tampa Bay, are banged up with DE Renaldo Wynn out, running back Portis laboring with shoulder problems and quarterback Brunell with a lingering knee problem; however, the Seahawks have struggled when pitted against physical teams this season - losing against Jacksonville, Dallas and to these Redskins on October 2nd. Moreover, Seattle failed to cover at home against the Giants in late November. Defensively, the Redskins have been strong and should continue to carry them here. Offensively, we'll look for Gibbs, who's 17-5 SU in post-season, to continue to pound the football with Portis and Betts in their bread & butter zone run game while picking spots through the air selectively. The rainy weather should slow down the action and allow the more physical Redskins to grind out a cover. Washington is a strong 8-0 ATS when the 'total' is set between 35' to 42 points. Holmgren has never beaten Gibbs in four attempts. Take Washington and be a winner.

Good Day & Good Luck!

(5) Washington Under 41 -105

The rain soaked field turf at Qwest Field, despite its good drainage, should slow down the field for the number two ranked offense of Seattle and play into the hands of Washington's superior defensive physicality. On the other hand, the Redskins conservative offensive philosophy will not enable their offense to erupt for too many points against the opportunistic Seattle defense.

Good Day & Good Luck!
