Heading to Shreveport Jan 20th - 22nd for the 1st time. We're staying at the El Dorado formerly Hollywood and I was looking for any poker info in Shreveport.

I know El Dorado has some tables and a 11am Tourney Saturday and Sunday.

Any info on Weekend tourneys, casinos with tables, limits, and action would be greatly appreciated.

My great and lovely wife will also be going so if you have any recommendations on must see, can't miss things to do, that would also help me out. She's sittin next to me right now.

Thanks

Haven't been there in over a year, Horseshoe was best for cards at the time. google 'shreveport casinos' for the Shreveport Casinos Link. Hope that helps...

It's a boring arse drive from the Waco area....

thanks btdb.

i'll give horseshoe a look.

i'm googled out - plus I stay up until 4am just to hear the testimonials on the George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Burning Grilling Machine. Seriously, just looking for some word of mouth stuff like you had on the Horseshoe.

luckily the wife has a few airline miles to cash in and we are flying in friday for $60 a piece.

Only played there twice, didn't play any tournies, sat in on ring table. No huge winning or losing stories to tell. At the time, I think they were the only casino with a poker room.

Spent most of my time at Boomtown, they really liked me there (comps). Not sure if Boomtown has a poker room even now.

Have fun on your trip and bring home some CASH

 $60 flight, can't beat that...
