Clem,
Im not one to rain on anyones parade, but I thought you might like a contrarions point of view:
UALR -4
Good spot for the Trojans tonight. They are unbeaten in their new arena and will have their 1st and only sellout of the year tonight when the Indians come to town. ASU is playing their 3rd game in 3 different cities in 5 days and are rail thin depth wise due to a large rash of injuries. I doubt any team in the country has suffered as many backcourt injuries as the Indians have this year. They have lost 2 guards to season ending injuries, and also have freshman guard Ballard out for about 3 weeks with a shoulder injury. Starting PG Tipler is having his minutes limited due to knee and hamstring problems. They are down to using a walk on who was being redshirted off the bench. They are basically using 7 players. Not a good thing when playing 3 games in 5 days.
Regarding UALR's New Arena
Opened this season. Its called the Stephens Center and is an on campus facility, which UALR has needed for years. It only holds 5,600 or so, so I'm sure it will be pretty loud when full. This will be a different atmosphere for ASU to deal with, as the past games at UALR have been played in larger arena's where the crowd was always 40-50% ASU fans.
This is a copy from a guy I know who follows this conference. FWIW.
