Vegas has cleaned up on Young this season. Some might say how can that be, they are 11-1 ats. Thats right but I'll bet not many people have been on the right side of that number. In gambling circles, the talk of this great cover team started when they had already covered 7 or 8 0f 9. It's to late, if you have not cashed on this cover machine, move on and find the next one. Look for a bad team because Vegas loves to back bad teams, the average guy doesn't bet on bad teams like Young. Now everyone knows about Young and many will place their first bet ever on this team tonight and lose. The wrong team is favored in this one.

The hook is Wright's 1-5 (SU) record on the road. This is a good 1-5. Look at who they lost too. Akron 9-3, N ILL 8-4, Miami OH 7-5, Toled 8-4, all from what I think is a better Conference in the MAC. The one bad road loss game @ Belmont. Belmont shot 57%, 53% from the 3pt line that night and they have a 6-11 center that pulled down 9 boards and 16 pts in that game. Youngs weakness is their big men and Wright has the edge inside and can match their guard play.Young has a nice new comer in Roberts but thats a wash with the loss of Radakovich. Wright St has won 5 straight in this series (SU) and the last 2 @ Young by 7 & 10 pts. It has been the pattern the last two years for Wright St to lose to teams from the MAC and go on to roll in Conference play; so far so good. 3-0 soon to be 4-0.

I must have missed something, is Youngstown some overwhelming pick somewhere?

Doesn't look like it, as the number was driven down 2 points an hour or so ago.

Young has covered in the favorite role -VS- : Conference foe Wis GB 7-9 (1-3)........3-9 James Madison............2-12 Duquesne...This is a bad 5-9 team...

Wolf, the number may be down but I doubt that it was driven down because more money has been bet on Wright St. I'll bet more money has been and will be bet on Young in this game. Just because a line goes down or up does not tell you where the money is.

Bryanz...I like the way you are thinking here. I capp a lot of my games the same way.

Wright State is playing well going 6-1 SU in their last 7, and 3-1 ATS in those games.

The fact that they their road losses were to good teams doesn't mean much if they got blown out ATS in those games, as they did against Akron and N. Illinois. However, the more recent W/C on the road as a favorite against Cleveland St. (I know CS is not a good team by any means but in this role...) shows this team has possibly recoverd some. The followed it with a really nice win vs. Loyola-Chicago.

Although they do have the bad loss to Belmont on the road, this was the 1st game of the season and I do not give as much credit to the 1st game or so.

I agree with a lot of what you said as I had the same in my notes...I am on Wright with you tonight...they may win outright.

GL!

great job, you read this one much better than I. Watched the entire game and there was nothing at all cheap about the Raiders win. They were the better team tonight.

good call...this was a no play for me until I read your post bryanz. I then did some checking and worked the numbers and it looked good, placed it and won. thanks for the inspiration!

PS, like chiapetta said...I cap games the same way as well...though I guess that goes without saying. Isn't it all about finding where the line goes wrong?
