there's a guy in vermont who has been found guilty of repeatedly raping a 6 year old girl for a few years...
the judge sentenced this guy to serve 60 days in jail for this...i'll repeat this because it's unbelievable.... a guy was sentenced to serve 60 days for raping a child over the course of a few years...
in his sentencing the judge stated that he doesn't believe the the vermont penal system can offer a proper rehab for this guy...can you believe this ?
while the judge did say in his remarks that he feels for this girl's family....nowhere did he comment on how this crime will effect this little girl....or how the sentence should fit the crime....
the leader of the vermont senate has blocked an action to have this judge removed...
i wonder how this judge or this state senator would react if a young child in their family was raped.....
there is something wrong in this country when rapists are getting more sympathy from judges & elected officials than the victims.....
