im actually surprised its double-digits.
im not sure there's any team in the acc thats deserving of being a double-digit home dog to anyone. duke may cover, but you can definitely make a case for clemson hanging around imo.

im going purely off memory here but i believe clemson has hung tough with duke in some recent meetings. and as you know, the tigers gave your heels quite a battle in the acc tourney with far less talent. one thing i like about clemson is that theyre one of the only teams in the acc who is willing to make a commitment to defense.
You make valid points but believe it or not i actually think people underestimate duke a little bit. Take the wake game, wfu is terrible and that line was so laughably off i could not understand it. I just feel like clemson's schedule has been soft up to this point. The win against fsu is quality but it was home so those are games they are expected to win. The win against wfu does nothing for me because wake is horrible.
It's hard to guage emotion. I'm not sure what the motivating factor for the duke players is but after some good play lately clemson will be fired up. That's whats keeping me from pulling the trigger at this point.

Looking at it strictly by the numbers:
Greenfields shows them ~-15
College hoops index ~-13
which confirms that the line may be too high. Looks like LV wants Clemson money ... I'd lean toward Duke.

This may be due to historical results as the previous posters indicated or it may be that LV wants Duke money ...
Hard to go against Duke right now; with so many choices this game is a no play.
