should be called OFFICIAL BALL. in a game like this, Samuel plays text book defense, if anything Denver player slightly pushes off. Plummer over throws receiver by 10 yards, and ball lands out of end zone. Official throws Flag 5 seconds after play is over, and effectively changes entire game, not the players, the officials. Biggest play of either team it becomes bad over throw non catchable pass put on 1 yard line. Complete bs!

this is exactly why I think football is the hardest game to cap...no way you can cap the officials bad calls...when 1 play can have such a huge impact on the game...by the way I like pats 2nd half...

exactly - the flag was thrown so late - i don't know what he was thinking - ref right by the action was not gonna throw a flag - in sports betting you have to accept losses - as let's face it you can lose 45% of the time and make a good amount of cash - but i just HATE losing when a bad call is made like this that can determine a point spread outcome...I'm not convinced Denver scores a TD on that drive w/o that penalty. May have been a 3-3 or heck maybe they get no points out of it and NE stays up 3-0...instead a cheap 7...however what happened happened and the team needs to come together and play the best 30 minutes of football of the season in the 2nd half - they will need to put up probably at least 17 points in the 2nd half to win this game as you have to assume Denver scores at least 7...can they do it? We will find out - and if they come back and win - I don't see how anyone can doubt this team

how can anyone doubt this team to begin with? they've won 3 superbowl rings...and in 2nd round of playoffs after a regular season decimated with injuries at every key position...

There is no call like that in any sport. First on the one is effectively giving a team 7 points. That call should only be made if a receiver is WIDE OPENTANDING WAITING FOR THE BALL, AND IS TACKLED BEFORE THE BALL REACHES HIM. its like giving a team a home run. Only in hockey is there a penalty shot, and that is almost never called, have to rape the breakaway skater from behind to get that call. Just think game should be decided by players.
