Tubby was put up for auction on ebay for a few hours after the Bama loss. He was bid up to $2,025 before it was taken down.

I wouldn't give 2 cents for him. He has slowly but surely turned Rupp into a place where no team is scared to play. These punks walk out there and think that having KENTUCKY across their chest is enough to earn a W. You take away that aura of UK basketball and they're just an average SEC team. Hell, I'm already looking forward to UK football. Atleast Brooks is bringing in some players. I love UK but I've hated that mother****er since he was at Georgia. He's supposed to bring toughness and all that shit but to me he is nothing but an Izzo wanna be. I don't know about you, Kirk and other UK fans on here, but SEC championships and sweet 16's don't mean shit to me.

I do feel he has major issues to deal with, but he can't help what happened this offseason. If we had Azibuke & Morris from the beginning, I don't think anyone would be concerned. I have never liked his style of play. It's okay to put emphasis on defense, but he sometimes ingnores the fact that you have to score points to win games. You're right about the homecourt advantage, it hasn't been there in recent years. I have posted on this forum a few times before that we play better on the road. I think alot of it has to do with us not practicing there. It's hard to adjust when the backdrops are so different in both gyms. I wish we would play a few games a year in memorial coliseum, then you would see a homecourt advantage. I remember going to midnight madness and that place would rock. You walk into Rupp and its like a church service. I think one of our problems may be our best player. Rondo does not know the concept of team play. He looks to go one on one every chance he gets. He has no confidence in the big guys, therefore, they didn't improve against the cupcakes early in the year. I thought we played best against Bama when Bradley, Sparks, and Moss/Crawford were in there. That gives you 3 outside threats. Everyone has figured out that Rondo can't shoot and they just pack it in and we pass the ball around the perimeter until someone decides to penetrate into a slew of defenders. I think Rondo is trying to get his #'s so he can enter the draft. I am interested to see what you think the main problem is, other than Tubby.

Sorry Kirk, I haven't been home since Mon. I've been at Central Baptist where the newest addition to our family made his entrance. At this point in the season I think there are alot of problems but it is not unfixable. We certainly haver the talent. I think the main problem started early in the seaon when Tubby was pulling guys 1 min. into the game for making one mistake. Most of these players are young and I think it messed up their confidence and game by having to play with one eye on the bench. Getting away was definitely good for them. I liked the line-up he went to to end the first half against Alabama with Morris, Rondo, Bradley, Crawford, and Ravi. It doesn't give us much size but we can setup a pretty effective press with those guys(if we can score). The good news is that it really doesn't matter how they play now, as long as they get it together. They should be playing with a pretty good swagger going into the Florida game. Then we'll see what kind of season it could be. When we're hitting the three it will be hard to beat us. The problem has been that we haven't had more than one person shooting well at the same time. When Sparks is hitting and not playing like he's getting payed off, it's a differen team. It sure would be nice to practice on our home floor. Does anybody know any other team that doesn't practice on their "home court"? I'm sure there are some, I'd just like to know who.
