I do feel he has major issues to deal with, but he can't help what happened this offseason. If we had Azibuke & Morris from the beginning, I don't think anyone would be concerned. I have never liked his style of play. It's okay to put emphasis on defense, but he sometimes ingnores the fact that you have to score points to win games. You're right about the homecourt advantage, it hasn't been there in recent years. I have posted on this forum a few times before that we play better on the road. I think alot of it has to do with us not practicing there. It's hard to adjust when the backdrops are so different in both gyms. I wish we would play a few games a year in memorial coliseum, then you would see a homecourt advantage. I remember going to midnight madness and that place would rock. You walk into Rupp and its like a church service. I think one of our problems may be our best player. Rondo does not know the concept of team play. He looks to go one on one every chance he gets. He has no confidence in the big guys, therefore, they didn't improve against the cupcakes early in the year. I thought we played best against Bama when Bradley, Sparks, and Moss/Crawford were in there. That gives you 3 outside threats. Everyone has figured out that Rondo can't shoot and they just pack it in and we pass the ball around the perimeter until someone decides to penetrate into a slew of defenders. I think Rondo is trying to get his #'s so he can enter the draft. I am interested to see what you think the main problem is, other than Tubby.
