Marist just came back from Albany after beating Siena.This team hit 3's in Albany from the state capital building 6 blocks away. On 15 possessions they hit a 3.Whitington hit 8 of them.Siena fought back only to see another 3.Rider meanwhile played a great game at Manhatten Friday nite losing only by 7.Rider is 0-5 in conf and now the Foxes have won 2 in a row.Think Foxes are a little better and get a road win here today.Can't be a big play because if Rider plays like it did in the Bronx and Foxes play like they did last week Broncos will win.
I like Jordan at the pt directing traffic.He doesn't get rattled in away gyms.Lyr Foxes won by 1 @ Rider.
Siena + over Manhattan *
Siena played no defense on friday nite and Foxes smoked them.Think with Kojo and co Saints keep this closer.Problem is Saints frontcourt is avg.MC has the best tandem in the MAAC in Dubois and CJ.Rider has a big front line and played them even.Lyr Saints lost by 15 in the Bronx.Tough game to capp.MC is capable of beating them like they did lyr.MC presses throughout the game.Relentless pressure.Saints gds can handle that.It's Siena on post defense thats the problem.Small play for Saints to keep this under single #'s.MC has won 9 str and are 5-0 in conf.
DePaul - over Rutgers ***
Demons are coming off a close game at Pitt where with only 3 minuts left it was a tossup.It was 69-65 and Demoms missed 2 FT's.They are 5-2 at home and 4-2 ats.Rutgers is 2-30 on Big East rd games under Walters.Unreal.Sam-o story.But at home they almost knock off Nova.
DePaul has a lot of youngs kids around Mejia who comes from my area.Mejia is one of the best gds in the BE.Burns his sidekick can score.But Chandler at 6'8 is the one who will give RU problems today.Plus 6'9 Wesly Green returns for Dep.He played a little in Pitt game.In the paint dePaul has some beef.
Douby is avg 23 pts a game for RU.Having an outstanding yr.Farmer the pt gd hurt his wrist but will play.Joynes is the center who has to play with a harness and is limited.Inman is a 6'9 frosh who is still a puppy but looks great.
But if Douby doesn't score RU has some problems.Depaul beat ND by 6 last week at home.I think they can handle Rutgers.RU has 11 wins to DePauls 8.But Dep beat UAB,Cal,Wake,and ND.
