(10) New England Patriots +3 +105

The Patriots, which lost to Denver 28-20 on October 16th, is a sweet 6-0 SU / ATS with revenge - a testament to Belichick's supreme preparation. And keep in mind that the Patriots were without the likes of DE Seymour and LB Bruschi when the Broncos' run game thrashed them for 178 yards including a 68 yard touchdown run by Tatum Bell. Currently, the New England defense - as a whole - has gotten into mastering their responsibilities. We'll look for New England to improve dramatically against the run this time around. The Patriots, on a 5-1 SU / ATS tear, should continue their post-season dominance.

Good Day & Good Luck

(15) Pittsburgh under 47.5 -106

The Steelers are 2-7 O / U on the road and will be much more prepared to handle Manning and company today. The Colts, after having nearly a month go by without a meaningful game, should have trouble early generating points. We'll look for Manning to be out of rhythm with his receivers the first half. The Colts are 1-5 O / U against the AFC North and 0-3 O / U as a home favorite of a touchdown or more.

Good Day & Good Luck!

(20) Carolina Panthers +3 -110

The Panthers are peeking at the right time under Fox, off a knockout performance at New York. The Panthers are much healthier and more effective than when they last met the Bears in late November. On the other hand, the Bears, which haven't experienced the playoffs since the '90s, lost their edge by coasting at Green Bay and Minnesota, despite having locked up their division and home field advantage for this one. The Panthers are a dangerous dog under Fox at 17-3 ATS including 4-1 ATS on the road. Carolina's defense has allowed just 13.8 points-per-game on the road and should be much better at stalling out the Bears' offense this time around. Offensively, we'll look for the Panther's improved offensive line to give QB Delhomme time to operate and fuel their productive run game to pound out a victory here.

Good Day & Good Luck

The Panthers have been an outstanding road team under head coach Fox at 14-4 ATS. Moreover, they play the dog role extremely well at an amazing 11-1 ATS! One of the keys to the Panthers road success is their well disciplined defense. Carolina's defense has gotten progressively better each week while bringing a smash mouth attitude. And physical teams, comparatively speaking, have given Seattle trouble this year: Seattle got worked at Jacksonville 26-14 September 11th, lost at Washington Oct 2nd, failed to cover at home against Dallas Oct 13th, and did not cover against the Giants, when their defense was healthy and they were playing good football. Last week, the Redskins' defense disrupted Seattle's game early; and provided that the Redskins' offense were a bit more in rhythm, could have dramatically changed the outcome of last week?s game. The Panthers' have an outstanding offensive line that has proven effective regardless of who is at running back. And, with all attention on dangerous wide out Steve Smith, Goings is capable running backs to fuel the Panthers' strong running game. We'll look for the well disciplined Panthers to overcome the noise level and deliver again!

Good Day & Good Luck!

(15) Pittsburgh Steelers -4 +101

The Seahawks are surely a formidable opponent with great balance on offense and a solid defense; however, the Steelers' defense has been incredibly dominant down the stretch and should, again, be one of the decisive factors. In previous years under Cowher, the Steelers' secondary struggled in big games; however, what was once a weakness is now strength. Roethlisberger has surely established himself as a marquee quarterback, clearly the best since Bradshaw. The Steelers' opponents this post-season put eight or nine guys in the box to stop the run only to have Roethlisberger shred their secondary for 680 yards on 68% completions and seven touchdowns with only one interception. He surely sets up the thunderous ground game with Bettis & Parker. Despite the success of the Seahawks' defense, I don't see them stopping this well conditioned Steelers offense. Pittsburg is 17-6 ATS as a favorite of 3.5 to 9 points under Cowher and we'll look for the Steelers to move to 6-0 ATS in Super Bowls.

Good Day & Good Luck!

(10) Pittsburgh Steelers U 47 -108

The Seahawks and Steelers have been tremendously successful in limiting offensive scoring this season - possessing the three and four scoring defenses respectively. Moreover, red zone scoring has been especially difficult against Seattle, which has the two red zone defense. Clearly Linebacker Tatupu and Leroy Hill have been major contributors in the Seahawks defensive success this season. Seattle is 3-10 O / U on artificial turf. Pittsburgh's defense is incredibly hard to prepare for; their speed and zone blitz schemes have rattled the best of quarterback. Pittsburgh is 1-4 O / U when the 'total' is set between 42' to 49. Take the under and be a winner!

Good Day & Good Luck!
