I will update record later in the week. Nice profit last week. Crazy games though. Sunday brings us too very interesting matchups and the lines seem pretty tight at first glance.

Let me first say that I can not stand going against either Carolina or The Hags at this point. They both battled extremely hard to get here. Seattle lost their best player in the early going and were still able to hold off the redskins. Carolina has been very good to me this season and proved that they are possibly the best team on paper.
Carolina got very beat up versus Chicago and losing Foster is a killer. I understand how dominant Smith is and it is quite clear no player in this league can cover this guy. I think if Foster was healthy and the defense was not banged up I'd be on Carolina. I look for Seattle to open big holes to get Alexander going early and often. He is thrilled that his team has stayed alive and now he will reward them by carrying them on his back. Hassleback is very heady at QB and with the running game going he will be able to hit the wideouts and the big Tightend as well.
Seattle on defense really impressed me and I think they will really be able to double smith and still stop Goings and whoever else wants to run the ball. If they are able to "slow" Smith with a double team, I dont think Carolina has another answer. This is a very good matchup and is not a big play for me. The line is 3.5 and I bought the hook.

Seattle -3 (130)

Pittsburgh Vs Denver
Another great matchup. Friends don't let Friends bet against the broncos at mile high. I'm concerned that the Steelers spent every ounce of emotion on sunday and will be a little flat at Denver. I dont personally feel that Denver played that great against the Pats. I think the Steelers are on a magic carpet ride and will be able to move the ball against denver through the air and via the "Bus". My question is what will Denver be able to do? When Pittsburgh smacks them in the mouth, I think plummer and company will not fold like Peyton did. In my opinion the Steelers just have more talent. The offensive line is big and nasty and Big Ben has the same mentality as them. Hines Ward is as good as they come in a big spot and I think the Steelers win a close one. but I will take the points.
Pitt +3.5

I personally hate teasers. I know of very few bettors who are successful and play a lot of teasers. I personally would tease up both dogs, but wouldn't go crazy as one of these games could get ugly for the road team.

Clem, Great job! You are the man and I hope you continue winning in your profession. It's tough to make a living off games, but you can do it. I have made approximately 50 Large over the past year. My winnings came primarily from college football, college basketball, and baseball. I'm an average NFL capper so I enjoy your advice.

Clem, I think you are giving Alexander way too much credit. He will not run well against Carolina. I think that Seattle is better off running Mack Strong and Morris. I can see Alexander coughing it up or maybe getting hurt again. The guy has had very very little success against good teams like Carolina. As for Foster being hurt, that is a minus for Carolina, but not so fast, Goings will surprise many like he has been doing his whole career. They guy is a more than capable back up. In fact, he was somewhat of a fantasy football monster last year for about 6-8 weeks when Foster, S. Davis, and S. Smith were all out and Carolina still managed to go on a win streak on the shoulders of mostly Delhome and Muhammed, but Goings was definitely the third head of that three headed monster, so don't be surprised if he goes for 100 or so all purpose yards, which will be all they need out of him.

Dizzy, have you got every game wrong? I think Clems around 70 percent, yet you'll dispute his plays every week as soon as he posts.
But this takes the cake, don't run Alexander, ya strong is much better choice. Hell Alexander only got what 28 touchdowns, they should probably put him on the inactive list this week.

Clem,

Hate to see you betting against my Broncos at Mile High, but as always respect your write ups. I also see a close game and might be willing to buy the hook to take the Broncs at -3. Maybe the line will go down and we can both hit. As always thanks for the good work.

Shamrock-Dizzaton went broke and was begging for bailout help or saying goodbyeto the forum,I can't recall which, during cf bowl season a few years ago, then was posting plays for the unsuspecting viewer inside a week later.Just check his past posts. That sayes it all.Clem, great season, people will stop discounting the seahawks only after they win the super bowl.Look at the line vs Carolina dropping from 6 to 3- by Wednesday.Carolina reeks of a public play to me when the line moves that much, they'll all still believe they were on the "right" side, even after they lose, and will bet against Seattle again in Detroit.GL either way

I like Clem as much as the next guy. He is clearly a better capper than me. I am just stating my opinion on the game. I bet Carolina for $200 at 4-1 to win NFC before the Bears game.

I am a 25 yr old attorney. I passed the Bar and have been practicing since Aug. 2005. I have been gambling for 5-6 years. I have been on this site since my college days. I probably asked for help more than one point when I was 20-21 and was in the hole 5 grand. I have taken my hits during my short stint betting games. You live and you learn. I am not the greatest capper, I definitely admit that. I don't really put to much time into it either. I just like to state my opinions about games, and I think Seattle is as soft as a pillow. Never liked them, don't want to root for them. If I lose then I'll work an extra hour or two the next day and make it back.

People that know me on this site will see the progression of an experienced NFL capper over the next 5-10 years. I am 2-3 these playoffs, but the year Carolina lost to NE in the Superbowl I called just about every game and made a killing. Good luck fellas.

Hate to go against you Clem, but my $$ will be on Denver. They played in a much tougher division had a tougher schedule and came out with a better record. I believe they have one of the most underrated defenses in the league allowing less points than Pitt. per game. They have a great offensive line and have rushed the ball for more yrds per game than Pitt. Think Pitt played their game of the year last week and have a funny feeling that Denver will play theirs this week. This will be Pitts 3rd road game in a row and playing in Mile High will make it even tougher. This is just my opinion on the game, so I don't need any of you negative FUQS comming in and thinking I'm bashing Clem. (he is one of the best). By the way, I can't stand either team so this is not a bias opinion. GL2A
