I bet the Steelers to win the Super Bowl right before the playoffs at 20/1, 260/5200. Should I hedge Denver is -190 on the money line at betcris which is the book I placed the bet and currently have money in, but that is a horrible line. What would you guys do? What do you think the best way would be to make the most money GAURANTEED.

I'm thinking I could put 2000/1220 at -165 on Den ML which would net me +960 if Pitt loses. If Pitt wins Im left with 3200 to work with. I could then put 1000/1500 on the ml on whoever pitt plays in the super bowl assuming the ML will be +150 which would net me +1200 and if the Steelers win I would net +2200.

I know there are a lot of other ways to hedge, and would like to hear what you guys would do. I'm kinda leaning toward just letting it ride, but not sure.

Dont hedge...............You have the winning ticket..........Pitt is going to get it done this year.
Ben is the real deal and the Broncos had td drives of 1 yd, 1 yd and 15 yds last week..........Pitt wont give them the game like last week.........

If you count last year and this yr in the games Ben R. has stated he is something like 26-4..........Go Steelers

i would hedge, but i like guaranteed money. i don't think pitt's opponent will be +150 in the superbowl though if its seattle. i think seattle would be either a pk or slight favorite. good luck though!

I am in a similar situation--having put down $100 on Panthers to win it all for +$3,350. I have not been impressed all year with the Seahawks, and with Alexander less than 100%, I believe I am not going to hedge (at least not this week). C'mon Panthers for me. Good luck to you.

2004 Ben lost to N.E. in the Playoffs
2005 Ben lost to N.E. in the 3rd game of the season, didn't play in the loss to Jacksonville, didn't play in the loss to Baltimore, returned from injury and lost to Indy his first game back, and lost to Cincy the very next game.

The man "ain't nothin but a winna"--

Good luck fellas and ND, I bet on them at the begining of the season last year and did the same this year-- I've also put money on the money line at+285 to win it

i would kill to have that bet...why take away from the massive amount of money you are going to win. Don't be such a puss, and let it ride!

I'm just going to let it ride!! :scared

Good Call.......

Look if Pitt can basically shut down Peyton Manning, Edge, Harrison, Wayne, and TE Dallas Clarke on grass indoors.........I like my chances vs Plummer, Anderson, Smith, Lelie and the Broncos dont have near the tight ends with the speed of Clark.........

gonna let it ride, looking back i would have gotten a lot more value if I would have parlayed the pitt ml every game. Against cincy they were -160, indy +360 and now against denver they are +150 and assuming they will be around -170 in the SB. probably at least 28/1 or more. I thought about doing that, but didn't oh well I'm very happy the way pitt looks right now and still have a ton of value on this bet.
