What I like about Sirious is the NFL that comes along with it....that and it made a great gift for my wife. One that we both can use, the variety of programming is spectacular. It can also cost less than 12.95 a month depending on how far into the future you want buy programming. I think it's well worth the price and would do it again.

I think satellite radio is absolutely worth it. Myself went with XM because I watch NFL and am not a Stern fan. But both companies have great programming choices. Also wondered if Stern got better or worse after his move, havent seen a peep about it on the news. I mean, he must have taken a huge audience hit after moving over, I didnt see the massive rush to buy Sirius radios they were counting on a year ago.

I don't know where you live, but in the North East Sirius radios were dried up and the only way you could get your hands on one is if someone returned one......yeah hes taken a hit, but it'll keep growing and growing...........

To Hokie fan: If you were a fan of Stern before, I would get it. YOU can pretty much always listen to him. He has 2 different feeds east and west coast which start at 6am and 9am eastern and he also replays at nite............Bubba the Love sponge is also on that channel, havent really got a chance to listen to him, I think hes 4-8.

The sports channels are great, Espn radio, espn news, nfl radio, games....its great and all the music you want, the best $12.95 I've invested.......I'd recommend.

Initially when he signed, the wild speculation was 10 million customers, which is still what, half of his regular radio audience. To date, I think Sirius has 3 million users? Maybe 4? Yes they had a shortage, but thats a supply chain issue, I still think the numbers are far below what they were expecting.

Put down the spiked kool aid, j/k......They had 600,000 subscriptions, before Howard announced.....They now have 3.3 million.......the wild speculation of 10 mil was not from Sirius themselves.......part of the deal with Stern was that he was to bring a million subscribers with him, meaning 1 mil X's 12.95 X 12 months comes out to about 155 million(thats not including the receiver itself), meaning Howards Salary is paid for and then some. I'm sure hes exceeded the million by himself, but even if not, they've increased their original base by 6 times the amount and this was before he hit the airwaves.......

After being on for 2 weeks, he has now started to talk about setting up something that will completely embarass him and his staff when they reach their quest for 10 million subscriptions.....his only goal is to see that satellite radio succeeds and is the future of radio......I wouldn't be surprised to see the 10 million be reached in the next year and a half

The wife got me the XM2GO radio for x-mas. I love it I can take this radio in my personal vehicle and then move it to my work truck in less than a minute. I chose xm because of the baseball package. I'm sure you will be happy with either.
