Well here we are at championship Sunday and the lines are almost identical. Well I went right down the list of important factors and came up with my clear cut winners.
Pitt vs Den:
QB- Practically even, but the game will not be won or lost by either one as many seem to saying it will. Both are conservative QB's who will not be asked to do a whole lot today.
RB- Clearly Pitt has the advatage as several Den def. linemen are ex-Browns and we all know what Pitt has done to Cleve. Bettis will eat up yardage all day.
WR- Have to give this one to Pitt as well with Hines and Miller. Rod Smith has a little bit left but dont see him or Lelie doing better than Harrison or Wayne from last week.
Kickers- Close, but a slight edge to Pitt.
Defense- Pitt. This is where the game will be won.
Car vs Sea:
QB-Will give this one to Delhomme based on playoff experience.
Rb- Seattle wins it here. Carolina too banged up. Goings not an every down back.
WR- If they can shut down Smith, Seattle has the advantage. This will be the key to the game. Carolina will be forced to throw and Smith will be double teamed.
Kickers- Carolina slightly
Defense- Very close but will give slight edge to Seattle.
With all this said really like Seattle at home.
