According to some stories, Lugo and Zito are still on the Cubs radar although with the Mets trading Benson I would say they are also a front runner in the Zito hunt IF he does get traded.

Hard to believe that Hendry is done.

I heard the Zito thing too. Not sure how that one pans out. I know Walker has been dangled out there for anyone to take. He's got to be the first to go. With a 2.5 mil. salary, he's worth it.

I have a hard time swallowing 2.3 million for Hariston. I guess the Cubs wanted to keep their streak alive of never going to arbitration. But they might have won that one. Hope he produces 2.3 million worth.
