3* - Denver Broncos (-3.5)
Pittsburgh has done a great job down the stretch to get here but this game is being played in Denver and the Broncos have not lost a home game since Halloween of 2004. The Steelers, meanwhile, are 1-4 in league championship games under Cowher, and they are facing a Bronco team that is plenty motivated to return to the Super Bowl for the first time in eight years. I think they have the players, the coach and the necessary confidence in themselves to do just that.

In my opinion, not enough is made of the thin air available at Mile High and it is not something that should be discounted. The Denver area is currently experiencing a temperature inversion which makes it even more difficult to breath. In a very physical contest with two excellent running games and blitz happy defenses, my money is on the team that is much better acclimated to the conditions.

Like the play judge and most likely will be on the panthers too, Shaun Alexander is as soft as tissue paper....Once he starts to get hit, he folds like a tent!....GL

Like the play judge....and most likely you'll be on Sea too....losing Peppers opens a gap for Alexander to run through.....over and over. (sorry Dice.....imo)

I ended up getting Denver -3 (-115) and also played one unit on Over 41 for this game.

Good luck to all!

5* - Seattle Seahawks (-3)
Carolina is trying to become the first team to win five straight road playoff games at Qwest Field which is one of the noisiest venues in the league and a place where Seattle has not lost this season. Despite still being listed as questionable, the Seahawks? top two receivers, Darrell Jackson and Bobby Engram, will both will play against Carolina and MVP Shaun Alexander will look to go over 2,000 yards rushing on the year. Hasselback has won 21 out of the 25 games that he has started at home and should add to that record this evening.

The Panthers have played well to get to this point but with DeShaun Foster on the sidelines, I do not see Steve Smith being able to win this game by himself. While Nick Goings has had some decent games in relief, let?s not forget that he started this season as a sixth stringer. Julius Peppers? inability to suit up for this game due to a shoulder injury could also loom large defending against Seattle?s running game. It has been a nice run by Carolina but they are too beat up to pull this one off.

I also played the following props:

1* - Seattle wins by 1 to 6 points (+350)
1* - Seattle wins by 7 to 13 points (+425)

Judge....love the plays!!!

I think Peppers is going to play, but he won't be anywhere near the force he typically is.

I think no Foster is huge....and I agree Sea blankets Smith. If they don't....they don't deserve to win. I think they assign a spy to go wherever he goes, and run a disciplined stay at home def.

I also bet 2u on Smith to get less than 102.5 yards recieving, even money. It was fun watching him melt down on the sidelines.
