Record 33-26

Pittsburgh @ Denver -3 41

There are a few things to sway back and forth on with this game....

The Steeler's third game in a row on the road, albeit not long distances. Denver's home field record is 9-0 this season. Denver's D-line is mostly made up from Cleveland's castoffs, to which the Steelers had some success going against for a few years. Both teams have the ability to stop the run. Cowher's record in AFC Championship games.

I am from Pittsburgh, therefore am greatly biased, but I have to feel from a storyline perspective, the league at this point would love to have the Steelers in this thing. A great fan base throughout the country and east coast. Key word east coast. There really are no big markets or city team left, and Pittsburgh makes for a compelling story....one for the thumb, Cowher second chance at a ring, and most importantly Bettis going home to Detroit for what might be his final game.

No disrespect to Denver, as they are a well coached, discipline and under-rated team. It should be a great and close game.

My play, and I know it is a homer one...

Pittsburgh +3

Pittsburgh looks good, but still a half to go.

Anyways, adding...

Seattle-3.5

Carolina travelling across the country after 4 games in a row on the road added to an extremely physcial game last week against Chicago. I'll bite on the Seahawks.
