Yeah, I'm sure most teams would rather lose in the Championship Game than go to the SB. Funny how very few east coast people on this site realize how good Seattle is.

Seattle is gonna wish they lost.

This is just typical Steeler fan bravado.

They have no idea about the Hawks. They were all too drunk to see how that team just destroyed a very solid Panther team & completely shut down the best WR in football this year.

Yeah, I think Pitt is going to be a huge public play for the SB. After all, the Steelers have so much football history and Seattle has... Starbucks and Microsoft, right? The Hawks will always be discounted because they have had so many losing years. Oh well, hope that drives the line up.

Congratulations to Roethlisberger. Funny how some guys get 8 chances to succeed, and nothing concluded about them when they fail. BR gets one playoff failure, he's a "game manager." I figured, if this guy is one of the Greats, then today will have been the day he showed it. He did. How many games has the guy lost, anyway? Not even five.

Certain types are talked down, other types are talked up. ESPN is just another liberal media outlet, promoting players/coaches rather than polticians. That fact, and it is a fact, can be taken into profitable account.

I wouldn't be surprised if Peyton Manning ends up pulling an Elway.
Would you?

But we were wide awake to see what they did to an "Unbeatable" Indy team, and watch them own every part of the "Unbeatable at home" Broncos team.

It will be a good game, but the line is accurate and probably won't move much.

How many times are we going to hear about the bus is from det,his mom and dad have gone to every game he has played in, replays of cheap shot steelers talking trash, replays of coach bill spitting in faces of his players, fans waving those wash clothes that they should have used in their bathrooms, shots of drunken fans in bars talking trash as they drool on each other, two more wks of this, how many years has the bus played, act like you have run for 2or 3 yards before, steelers used to be a great organization, but this bunch on the field has no class, don't even respond, your right I'm wrong, thats just how I feel, wake me up when it's over.

Not a fan of either team, but would have to agree that a lot of the players from Pitt are very unsportsman like. Not saying all of them are but definately more that one. If you look at Seattle when they made all their big plays on defense and was shutting down Carolina you didn't see them getting in the other teams face and talking sheit. Not trying to discredit Pitt, give credit where credit is do, but at least have some class for christ sake. I thought these guys are supposed to be professionals.

Yeah, Jake Plummer was quite vaginal, but I would blame the loss on Denvers D. They never made any adjustments and Pitt exploited the middle of the field. If you watch any of the replays look where their safety is all of the time, way too deep. I understand not getting beat deep, but Pitt doesn't strike me as one of the better teams at stretching the field. That was one of the main things that I noticed among others but I felt that was the one thing they should have corrected. If they could stop Heath Miller it would have been much closer of a game.

Pitt has many more weapons and Big Ben wont throw the ball to the other team and give them easy scores like Carolina did. Not like this matters, but Seattle is in a soft division with SF,Ariz, and StLouis and Pitt plays against Ravens,Clev,Cinci. They also beat the top 3 teams in the NFL on the road. Seattle has the talent to win, but if Pitt plays like they have been the past couple weeks, I dont think they can be stopped.

/also Carolina is not a solid team.

Carolina not a solid team? What are you talking about? If you are referring to their inconsistencies in the regular season that is something all teams experience. If they wouldn't have had the key injuries that they experienced at running back it would have been much closer.

As far as throwing the ball away under pressure, this is something all quarterbacks experience. Both teams put a lot of pressure on you and expect to see turnovers. Ultimately I feel Seattles O line is going outplay Pitts rush and blitz packages. Carolina plays a very similar style of defense, although Pitt is better at the same things Carolina does, Seattle shouldn't have protection problems like Indy did. Seattle's defense seem to be playing well as a unit also.

Juu3, it seems as if you already know me! All joking aside they still made the NFC Championship game. Not every team can say that.

Oh, so that's the barometer of what makes a team good now? Pretty funny how they absolutely manhandle one of the best teams in the NFL and immediately anyone who is taking Pitt in the SB has to try to find a way to discredit them. I never said they were a good road team and it's not like I'm one of the blowhards on this site who is guaranteeing a win, but if you want to sleep on Seattle go right ahead. And keep one thing in mind, this isn't a typical road game. You're kind of comparing apples and oranges if you try to compare a regular season road game with the SB.
