I like these two Plays this week but I played them SMALL because I don't believe in giving back my regular season earnings uless I really love a game.

Seattle Seahawks -3 (buy the ? point)Seattle is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Home games while the Panthers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Road tilts? Both teams have some injuries as both Seahawks receivers (Jackson and Engram) missed practice this week?but?the Panthers are the worse of the two because HB Foster is Out and it looks like DE Peppers may join him on the bench? In the last 2 weeks playing the Giants and Bears on the road? Carolina has logged a total of 2,840 miles in the air?the Panthers will travel another 2,860 miles to get to Seattle this week?AND?they will have one fewer day of rest having played Sunday while Seattle played Saturday?add to that the fact that the Panthers are banged up having to go with 3rd string HB Nick Goings (a player I like) but someone who would be better served not getting the rock the entire game?the Panthers will really miss DeShaun Foster and Stephen Davis this week?I really like the way the Panthers have come together in the playoffs and I?m not entirely sold on the Seahawks being the better team?but?I just can?t back a banged up Panthers team playing their 3rd straight road game versus a well rested Seahawks team playing on an extra days rest and no frequent flier miles to boot? The Panthers had a good run?but? their gas tank will be running on Empty in the second half of this one?The Seahawks Home field advantage is the difference in this one!
Seattle 23 Carolina 16

Carolina and Seattle UNDER 43.5
I hit the Under in the Hawks Skins game last week and I?m backing the under in Seattle again on Sunday? the Seahawks are now 5-1 UNDER in their last 6 HOME games? while the Panthers have played UNDER in 7 of their last 10 games overall?remember this tidbit from last week?the Seahawks beat up on a bunch of bottom-feeders this season scoring 41 vs San Fran, 42 vs Philly, 42 vs Houston, 33 vs Arizona, 31 vs St.Louis and averaging in the 30?s against the likes of those teams?however?when the ?Hawks played teams with Defenses ranked in the Top 10 of the league they averaged a meager 13.5 pts per game scoring just 13 vs Dallas and 14 vs Jacksonville?they added 20 last week against Washington and face another Top 10 Defense in Carolina this week?as for Carolina scoring points?I expect the Seahawks to double Steve Smith this week (something that a stubborn Bears team refused to do last week) so I don?t expect another MONSTER game from Smith?take Smith away from the Panthers and the question is ?who beats you?...Nick Goings?...Drew Carter (if you ever heard of him)?the ancient Ricky Proehl?...Ken Mangum (the TE)?...I expect this one to be tight with both teams trying to avoid turnovers like the plague?I just don?t see 44 points being put on the board in this one and my score prediction may be a bit generous.
Seattle 23 Carolina 16
