my biggest question about this game is regarding the blitz of pitt and how sea handles it.

in the last 2 games : pitt gave up very few rushing yds and f'n killed the opposing qb's - when they dropped back to pass. indy was not committed to the run and den def was so shitty they stopped running as well. if pitt gets you one dimensional you are f'd. roth was a stud early in both games carving up each opponent early.

can sea stop the blitz?
can sea stop roth?
can sea defend a 2 dimensional offense?

can pitt play well if they do not get the early lead?
can pitt defend as well if they are out on the field for a while?
is there anything sea can do on defense to make pitt change their game?

this game is very tough for me. no alliegance to either team. i am afraid that pitt defense may be too good right for almost anybody. also, roth has not been pressured yet. i am looking for reasons to not play pitt because right now i think they are just too good. this sea team is a damn good team, but i am not impressed with wash offense or carolina's (last week). sea cannot pick their opponents, but i think pitt is playing at a level that sea has not played against in weeks.... again, hoping to have people disagree and give me another view.

thanks

right now i'm leaning to pitt.....but what worries me about backing pitt is the 2 week layoff....

pitt. had alot of momentum & i wonder if the 2 weeks cools that off.....

funny, i mentioned that to a close freind of mine on mon. i suspect sea will lose a little steam with the same lay off, but it is probably not the same as pitt was really at a high level the last 2 weeks.

good point AR, that worries me with both teams...I think the same 2 week layoff could apply to Seattle...I know they didn't have Alexander but they didn't look that great coming off the bye with Wash

after the way seattle celebrated their victory over carolina, i feel the 2 week layoff will benefit them....

if this game was to be played this sunday i wouldn't hesitate backing pitt. with a large wager....

but i could be wrong about this....

need to do more research....

I know I feel the same way but I think the line would be just a tad bit higher if that was the case...but yeah I need to do some research myself and won't have my thread ready until a few days before the SB...but keep pumping out that info AR...I always read your threads because your post are always loaded with some good stuff...thanks
