After last nights lucky push with Uconn, the ytd record in College Hoops stands at 22-12-2

I have a few more plays than usual and 2 PBr specials.

I laid the 7.5 with Odu over Drexel and think this one should go my way pretty comfortably. I look for ODu to come out with a vengence after losing their last home game to Hofstra. They have a decent edge in the backcourt and are much better up front Drexel struggled at home monday with towson. I think ODU holds court here.

Northeastern has arrived in the Colonial. I make them a 13 point choice in this spot.. Solid edges all over the court. 4 returning starters off a 21 win squad from a year ago. They are deeper and so much smarter than Georgia State.
Northeastern is not getting the oddsmakers respect in this conference yet.

Preseason numbers for me had UMW by 22 in this spot. UMW by my numbers were going to win this conference for fun while YTown I had in the basement. This is one of my favorite angles to play. Ytown has already matched their win total from last season and won 3 in conference games.
This is not a spot that Ytown is ready to win. Uwm is in their first of four road games and a win here is paramount.

they ALSO played their worst game of year at the small Drexel gym earlier in year..;) revenge time

ODU basketball player is shot near Constant Center

NORFOLK -- Brandon Johnson, a sophomore guard on Old Dominion University's men's basketball team, was shot late Wednesday while entering his apartment building in The Village apartments, which house students behind the Ted Constant Convocation Center.
An ODU official said Johnson was shot from behind and sustained a fractured right clavicle. The injury is expected to keep him off the court for four to six weeks but is not considered life-threatening.
The assailant fled on foot, and local authorities are continuing their investigation. Johnson is the back-up point guard for the Monarchs and plays significant time off the bench for the team, which faces Drexel tonight at home at 7 p.m.

Clem, does the fact that Northeastern has a crappy road record affect the decision at all? Granted, GS has been blown out a couple times at home.
