Just wondering how the rest of the world is going to react to this -- I was reading the NY Times this morning and they pretty much had the Fatah party winning this thing. I was suprised to see the opposite when I logged on to the Internet when I got to work. To the best of my knowledge, the majority of the world considers Hamas a terrorist group. Israel probably bracing for severe repurcussions with this happening.

2 questions...

1)is the world community finally getting it?...do they finally have the palestinians number.?

they don't want peace, they don't want to work and they don't have any money.....

how is this country, with no natural resources and an umemployable population going to ever pay the bills?........when most of the aid is diverted to buy weapons and fill the coffers of the corrupt....the answer is they can't....

now,hopefully... the u.s. is going to take a second look at it's support for them(aid) now that hamas is part of the govt.....

do the europeans(even if they hate the Joos) want to support these clowns forever?

2)will hamas allow abu mazan to stay breathing?

solutions....

1)israel...build that frickin` wall....patrol it like your lives depend on it(and they do).....

you will be safe at least until ahamdinnerjacket gets the bomb....and that`s a whole `nother issue...

side issue...how is ahmadinnerjacket going to destroy israel without pretty much wiping out the palestinians?....

i guess, you gotta break some eggs to make an omelet...

2)u.s.....stop all aid to the palestinians...

the media is portraying this as if this is a repudiation of the fatah party...and their failure to bring real peace...

the truth is,i think fatah actually tried...as much as they could... may have had a shot if not for groups like hamas`....

all this election proves is that the palestinians want israel erased from the face of the earth...

negotiations are a sham...always have been...

Is this the same election that some point to as evidence of democracy sweeping through the Middle East as a result of our invasion?

Terror group running one country. Radical Islam mullahs running another. Looks like they are embracing democracy.

Kosar you are correct. The Pres today is not happy. Wants it both ways. Elections but only the way we can make them go. Watch the neat stuff that will come out of Iraq next 10 years. If were there and can make sure it goes close to how we want it. When it don't the process will be worth nothing.

I would say absolutely yes--when was last Palestine had free elections???? You don't consider that a democratic 1st time occurance there??????
While results were not favorable--still better off than when Arrafat was running country.

I'm with GW build the wall an isolate em and let them destroy themselves internally.

I agree about building the wall, but not quite sold on how it's 'better' that a terror organization fully backed by Iran wins.

dtb...you hit it on the head...iran already funds hamas...that`s a fact...even more so than saddam paying suicide bombers...

which is why,i`m befuddled by jimmy carter....again...."dhimmi`s" comments...

"" “The elections were completely honest, completely fair, completely safe and without violence,” the former president said....

yeah, and the house was as quiet as a church during the burglary.....lol

except for the civil war that`s brewing...

""“The Palestinian Government is destitute, and in desperate financial straits. I hope that support for the new government will be forthcoming,” Carter said at a Jerusalem press conference.

defeat your enemies...by throwing money at them?

is that amazing?...they`ve already killed anywhere from 30 to 50 americans...that we know of.....they will not renounce their intention to destroy israel...yet,carter wants to throw money at them...why?...when they are heavily funded already by iran, the saudi`s and europe....

"heavily funded".....and "running out of money".....???????

imo, don`t fund shit....and press europe to join us...the sooner this circus runs outa money the sooner the clowns will wash off their paint and get real jobs.... then israel might find a people willing to live in peace......
