Terrorism hit record levels in 2005, according to data from the RAND Corporation available through the Department of Homeland Security-funded Terrorism Knowledge Base.

You?re doing a heck of a job, Georgie.

The sum of ?international? and ?domestic? terrorist attacks in 2005 was 3991, up 51% from the previous year?s figure of 2639. The number of deaths that resulted from those attacks was 6872, which is 36% higher than the 5066 that occurred in 2004.

A heck of a job.

In contrast, in the last year of the Clinton presidency (2000), there were 1138 attacks and 776 deaths. Since then, after five years of Bush?s macho 84 billion-dollar-a-year War on Terror?, attacks have increased by 250% and deaths by a whopping 550%.

I haven't looked into it in a year and a half or so, but back then attacks and deaths due to terrorism since 9/11 were quadrupled compared to the previous 9 years. Doesn't mean Clinton was so great, and it *does* mean that it's total bullshit when somebody says that Dubya has reduced the terroristic capability.

And anybody that gets a boner about the fact that there have been no attacks here in 4 1/2 years should be gushing about the fact that there were no attacks here from 1993-2001.

5,235+ Americans have died under President Bush. If you think this guy is keeping you safe, then you live in Bush world. Thousands are entering America over the southern border every year. Bush does not know who these people are or where they come from. If "Terrorists" want to do something it would not be hard, and something is on the way. Don't forget that 9-11 happened on Bush's watch. This clown is going to end up giving the whole circus away. If it wasn't for his father, George Bush Jr. would be selling used cars in West Texas, and not very good at it.

i totally agree on the southern border issue....

it`s a travesty....and,imo,bush is the MAIN culprit....

it amazes me that something hasn`t happened due to the open southern border...

and if it does....if new york or l.a. or washington gets vaporized...and it`s traced to our southern border...

then,imo,bush should be lynched...

GW, Bush chose to ignore the warnings left behind by Clinton. No telling what would have happened had Bush not been appointed President but we do know what happened during his watch.

Heck yes 9 months is enough to plan a war. We did it in less then 6. 9/11 we have no idea. They had leads that no one listen two in June of that year. I guess Clinton was out of office in January.
