Its not like I bet the house on it. Just one unit, regular play. I just can't watch Duke games any more, b/c its just getting more and more ridiculous every year.
I really wish the guy had knocked Melchioni out with that kick. I don't care, think of me what you wish. Dirty deserves dirty. I'm so sick of Duke flopping, getting the calls, no-calls, etc.
Duke would have won tonight, but it would have been close. Remember last time when Duke was up 12 and Tech came back to almost win. Refs made sure that wasn't happening tonight. They made sure in the 1st half and then really made sure in 2nd.

Thats cool. I didn't necessarily bet with my heart though. I admit I do that with UNC a lot.
I took Duke the first time against VT, at Duke and they didn't come close to covering.
I just figured 12 was way too much since it was at VT. They didn't play good, esp. in the 1st half, but those refs.....
They still almost covered.
One big play was the walk not called on VT's 1st technical. There were already like 3 plays in a row where Duke got calls. VT got hacked bad the play before, easy call for a 3-pt play. No call. Then the guy walks, the VT guy gets a lot of ball after that and they him for a foul. Yeah, I'd have pushed him too.
Duke gets 4 points when it should have been VT ball.
A lot of plays like that. That last tech, it had to have been done b/c Melchionni literally flopped before any contact at all.
If I was a Duke fan, I'd be embarassed. But, they have no conscious.
Also, flopping puts you in great def. position. The guy has to go around. I'd say stomp on his face and pick up a blocking call.
