I hate WalMart, but that is just ridiculous.

They can't legally single out one company, so they write the law in such a way that it could only possibly apply to Walmart in Maryland.

Sneaky.

let them live with their convictions :)

Wal-Mart and the Windy City

The Chicago City Council rejected Wal-Mart's application to build a store on the city's south side 18 months ago after local labor leaders complained about the retail giant's low wages and lack of employee benefits. So Wal-mart opened its store just one block outside the city limits, in the south side suburb of Evergreen park and is expected to generate $1 million in sales and property tax for the village in its first year alone.

So have prospective employees complained about Wal-Mart's working conditions? The store has 325 jobs available for which it's received 25,000 applications.

Hope Maryland is taking note ;)

We have the same scenario here in So Cal or specifically the LA area. We have to listen to that union bought and paid for liberal ====maxine waters go on and on about how bad Walmart is for the workers and the community. When asked about all the tax revenue generated she could not give an intelligent answer or rebuttal, just kept ranting about how bad they are.

These liberals make no rhyme or reason. Also when a Walmart does open in Ca or anywhere like DTB indicated they have thousands of applications for the available jobs. What a joke.
