Brown - over Dartmouth ***** strong play

Brown has won 2 of last 3 beating Yale at home by 5.Dartmouth was 0-7 in Dec and is 1-5 in Jan.And that win was against Army.On the rd they are losing by 12,13 and 11 recently.Dart is last in about 5 or 6 catogories in the Ivy.Offense,rebounding,etc.Brown by no means is a good team is last also in FT%,FG% and 3 pt,etc.
Browns Huffman,Ruscoe,Becker and Friske are avg around 10 pts a game. Two of them are 6'6 and 6'7.Dart top 3 scores are 5'11,6'2 and 6'3.Pattman,Lang and Giovacchini. No one inside the paint can score.
If Brown just beat Yale by 5 that is the same number tonite.Brown wins this by double digits..10-12 pts.
What can Brown do for you... Win and cover...

Iona - over Niagara **
Iona gds should again dominate vs the Purple.Purple can't score or play defense.Iona is explosive. They have some MAAC rd wins already vs Canisius by 15,Peter by 8,Siena,and Fresno and Iowa St...

Mahattans CJ Anderson has been suspended for the yr.Top MC scorer and rebounder. Big blow to them.He missed the Rider game this week. And Rider really put it to Manhattan.
Not sure if I will be back tomr nite.So posting early..

Thanks for the write ups and the info on Manhattan. I wonder what happened in that game. I may still clear of the game with Fairfield then.

I like the Iona pick and will be playing.

I was leaning the Iona pick but look at Niagra's home games this year:
11/21/2005 Home W 101-88 vs. #228 St Bonaven

11/30/2005 Home L 63-66 vs. #33 Bucknell
12/3/2005 Home L 59-68 vs. #82 Buffalo
12/9/2005 Home L 75-76 vs. #142 Siena
12/11/2005 Home L 84-87 vs. #174 St Peters

1/12/2006 Home W 78-73 vs. #187 Fairfield
1/14/2006 Home W 75-72 vs. #135 Loyola MD

They are 1-6 ATS on these games....but they were the fave in all of them.

Does these homedog flip mean something or is it just cause Iona is so successful right now?

I took the Iona line at -6, but it has moved down to -5. Perhaps others are thinking like you and looking at the flip and the past games.

Iona - over Niagara ****
Iona is 6th out of 333 teams ats at 10-3-2.They have alrady beaten Purple 73-55 and Burtt who is one of the top scorers in the nation had an off nite scoring only 19.Iona is 7-1 on the rd and rank No 1 in the MAAC on offense,defense,FT%,Assits,3 pt shooting and a few more. There only weakness is rebounding where Niagara is ranked 2nd.NU is at the bottom in offense,defense,3 pt shooting, etc. Also in last 9 games they are 1-8 ats.
The 3 Iona gds dominate most games. They are quicker and cause matchup problems to any team they play in conf.
NU has Fisher who is there scorer. But these guys can't shoot 3's.Iona since they took a whupping at home by Manhattan have won 6 straight.
They win by 10 tonite..

Manhattan - over Fairfield *
small play.Stags playing at home after 6 in a row away.Nice win @ Loy Md.Also won @ Peter.Jaspers w/o superstar CJ will be hurting. But they play better defense.Minor,Wingate, and Xavier are solid gds.Kono needs to step up and frosh sensation and pre-season MAAC frosh of the year Austin will get a lot of playing time.Dubois by himself. But Stags have no post players or inside attack.Todd on fire but MC has gds that can slow him down.

Rider + over Canisius *
Rider is 1-7 on the rd but has played really solid the past week.Griffs are so inconsistent.Only 1-4 ats at home.Last in offense to Riders last in defense.Close game..down to the wire.Take the dog..

Brown I like alot. *****
