Take away the Iraq invasion and issues resulting from the invasion and i'd bet we agree on more things than not.

You, like plenty of others, pigeonhole me as some sort of nutty liberal simply because I just don't see the benefits to America as being worth the costs.

However, I can definitely see the benefits for the Shiites, Iran, Syria..etc .

Even if the extrememly unlikely happens and Iraq doesn't turn into a civil war when we leave, i'm hard pressed to see the value in having Islamfascists running yet another country over there.

Maybe you can explain how that will have helped America?

Also, we have no leverage with Iran as a result of the invasion. IMO, that makes us less safe. How about you?
