I use limewire and when I burn the music to cd I can't always listen the songs in my car

sometimes they play in my car and sometimes they dont. They always play in my home system. Am I burning the wrong type of file? Is there anyway to convert the files?

Pisses me off when I download all this music and put in cd player in my car and get a error.

Thanks in advance!

Make sure your recording the cd as an audio cd.

Otherwise, I always play the songs on my computer once all the way through to make sure it is complete, and not some radio mix labeled wrong.

Sometimes you might have to finalize the cd, which means nothing more can be added to the cd.

Maybe also try different media or burn them at a slower speed

Download Musicmatch and convert the files from mp3's to waves. I have never had a problem when I do it that way. Good luck.

I find CD-RW's won't play in my car and various other devices, but CD-R's play almost everywhere. Switch to CD-R's if you're not already using them and you may have better success.

Glad ya got it worked out. Strange huh? And the nice thing is they cost half the price. (Or at least here they do). Sometimes paying more isn't better. :)
