sillinger gone too (yesterday).

Weight is confirmed traded.
The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired Doug Weight and 27-year-old Finnish forward Erkki Rajamaki from the St. Louis Blues. In exchange, Carolina gave to the Blues three draft picks and three players. The package includes forward Mike Zigomanis, Jesse Boulerice, Magnus Kahnberg and the Hurricanes' first-round pick in 2006

Sutter said it was the teams worst game all season. Detroit is a -500 against St. Louis on Wed.

Dont look for Calgary to make a big splash in the playoff.

I think that's a pretty haste statement based on one game. sutter is a helluva coach and his teams excel in playoff style hockey. I'd still say they're the favorite to represent the West in the stanley cup...

Yeah but all he was talking about WAS that one game. It was their worst by far he was right. They were playing a severely undermanned team full of rookies getting a chance and couldn't close the door on them in the 3rd period, or in the shootout up one to close it out.

Don't get me wrong, I think Calgary is a top 4 Western conference team, but last night was downright ugly.

If Calgary cannot beat a piss-poor team full of rookies, what makes you think they are gonna do well in the playoff. I have not seen anything great about Calgary so far this season. If anything, they are overrated.

Detroit and Dallas is the favorite to represent the West. Certainly not Calgary.

I agree, Dallas and Detroit are better teams. Heck I think Nashville could beat Calgary in a best of 7 no problem.
