Think this a great spot for them at home. Preseason numbers favor them at home pretty strong. Unc is very young and winning here to me just is not in the cards. Maryland is much deeper and should win here by 8 to 12.

See tech winning here by 7 to 10 points on the road.I will take 4 returning startes off an 18 win team over 3 rs on a 6 win team anytime in conference.Huge edge in the backcourt for tech. I picked tech to finish 3rd in this conference and this is a very winnable road game in the ohio valley that they need to get.

UNC needs more than freshman hansbrough to win against maryland. What is up with Noel this year, a senior that isn't showing much for 4 yrs worth of practice.

Noel has played good, but inconsistent. At times he carries them, at other times its like he's not even there. Kind of weird.
Its not like I see him play bad, just very invisible at times.
I think Sanders and Thomas are finally benefitting and improving from the playing time, and I never thought I'd say that.
Those 2 irritate me, but I guess Roy knows he's going to need their contribution in March.
UNC just a very inconsitent team and you have no idea which team is going to show up, whether at home or on the road.
I hope they put everything together, esp. consistency, for the Big Dance...
