up the entire game, and then up 56-52 with 0:50 left AND THE BALL, and they lose 57-56. what a complete fold job. every single mistake you can make -- fouls 80 feet from the basket, missing the front end of 1/1s, having no clue how to defend ball screens and let hernandez get a clean look from 3. you really have to wonder what the coaches are saying in the final minute in the huddle. anyone with oregon got royally screwed by the ducks meltdown

I feel your pain Gman. Its been my story lately for a lot of teams, looking like a solid cover, and then complete ugly!

How about Toledo-3.5 a few weeks ago...up 22 at the half I think, up 10 with 30 seconds left, up 5 with 4 seconds left, hit a free throw, so up 6, and their opponent makes the meaningless 3 at the buzzer to cover. I would have won all kinds of multi-team parlays that night for over a G...should have stopped then because it hasn't really gotten much better since then. Every night there seems to be one team that I just can't believe they didn't hold on. This year seems especially brutal.

Oregon is just flat out terrible this year.

you sonofabitch-
you HAD to remind me of the toledo meltdown against buffalo a month ago!
:mj07: :mj07:
i too had a large chunk of cash on (-3) but with the way i felt after that game, it might as well have been a loss instead of a push. im very thankful that i didnt have oregon tonight, however, i did have washington the other night when stanford pulled off "part one" of their last-second comebacks within the last few days.
btw- you are correct, toledo led by 22 in the second half and 10 with 0:28 left. and im not sure if you know this, but the 3 at the buzzer was from about 35 feet out. just a horrific beat.

i really do feel for anyone who had oregon. im sitting there with no bet on the game and watching them meltdown and was actually getting annoyed. some of these teams are clueless in the final minute of games, and oregon certainly heads any list

Lately it seems ALL of the teams are clueless in the final minute of games, especially the ones I have cash on. The shooting percentage of teams from 25+ feet in the last 8 seconds of a game has to be around 80%.

YOU sonofabitch...I somwhat forgot about washington the other night. Had them as you did at -2, up 3 with 2 seconds left...thought it was money in the bag, and then that display of idiocy at the buzzer...UNBELIEVEABLE! :cursin:

I could go back through my records and find several others, but its not worth my precious time. GL this weekend...gonna need it the way things have been going.

Gman -

After watching the end of the debacle vs. UCLA at home I'm suprised you would expect anything less - this team is poorly coached and has a very small b-ball IQ which is a bad combination (yes, I was on the Ducks vs. UCLA) - Aaron Brooks has really dissappointed - and yes, I am talking about the Duck point guard (not the Saints QB) - had them vs. UCLA and decided after the game that this year it's either against the Ducks or nothing

Think Wazzou sets up really nicely tom. - points with this team become very important in most games, although I think i might give ML a shot as well - perfect that they have lost 5 straight

Anyway - GL as always - keep providing the good info - most likely will try to pick your brain in March if possible
