SEATTLE VS. PITTSBURGH
One win from 70 % on the year.
 :mj14:
Here we go for all the marbles a match-up of two AFC teams playing for the title. First lets talk about the mighty Steelers. Pitt coming in on a roll and a fan favorite the 6 seed laying 4 to the 1. Everyone hyping up the three easy victories, but a further look were they that easy? Lets start w/ Cinn. after Palmer leaving I watched a rusty Kitna (has not played in over a yr.) march his "O" up and down the field the 1st half. They trailed Pitt. 17-14 at half, but the fatigue of not playing set in as the game wore on.
Final Stats PITT. 19 1st downs; 346 tot.yds.; 0 TO's CINN. 19 ; 327 ; 2 not that dominant to me.
Next at Indy who did nothing but look past Pitt. and It cost them. After whipping them seven weeks earlier 26-7 thought they could show up and win and found themselves scratching for every pt. Pitt jumped on them like the neighborhood bully and then hung on for dear life. The Troy P. pick was a bad call but Indy handed them the ball inside the five w/ 90 sec. left to salt this one away and they couldn't do it.
FINAL STATS PITT. 21 1st downs; 295 tot. yds.; 1 TO INDY. 15 ; 305 ; 1
Finally at Denver other than the opening drive when Champ Bailey dropped a TD which ended up being a first down reception by ward the Broncos were outplayed on every inch of mile high stadium.
Now poor old Seattle they have such a weak schedule, the easiest division. Sea. played six teams w/ winning records going 4-2 SU. Then going 9-1 against their remaining schedule which according to most were just give me games. But what many fail to notice they destroyed these teams by an avg. score of 34 to 16. Pitt on the other hand faced 8 teams w/ winning record going 4-4. Vegas before the playoffs started opened the AFC a 7.5 pt. fav. (expecting Indy) therefore they could not leave a huge middle for the gamblers. So any AFC team was gonna be a 4 or more pt. fav. Hasselbeck is vastly underrated and Sea. run game is like no other as they use the fullback (Strong) to open holes for Alexander, Strong's job will be to blow up any LB (Porter) or safety (Troy P.)that get in his way. Now with no more delay to get to 70 % taking the SEAHAWKS + 4 (maybe more by Sunday) :mj23: :mj23: over the Steelers as 8 of the last 10 bowls have gone to the dogs. Gonna even go further out on the limb here calling for the first OVERTIME game in Super Bowl history. Seahawks 24 Steelers 21
Good Luck to all
