So I just watched this documentary called "Grizzly Man" and its the story of Tim Treadwell. Tim Treadwell was know for his personal documentation of time living with wild Grizzly Bears.
After watching the film I came to the conclusion that this guy is nothing more then a strung-out extreme environmentalist with serious emotional problems. It just seemed to me all this guy was trying to due was live off of the the fame of extreme method of documentation of these wild bears, he did make it on Letterman. This guy was no doctor or scientist it just seemed like was he was some burnt out drug attic trying to find some kind of meaning for his life because he couldn't function in a normal society. He seem only concerned about his popularity and on going rage against society as a whole.
During his personal documentations he would have these sciatic moments of rage and anger. It could been one of the oddest things I have ever seen. This guy would rave how he was doing some much good by documenting this bears but from what I could tell there were no scientific reasoning for some of his documentation. He was just kind of there doing nothing. Well long story short the guy shockingly gets ate by one of the bears and what the really sad thing is he a had girlfriend with him soon to be ex-girlfriend who also lost her life.
Has anyone else seen this film and what did you guys think about it? That could have been one of the stupidest guys I have ever witnessed. If you ask me the bear that they shot and killed for Treadwell's death got the raw end of the deal for just being a grizzly bear.
