Obviously I am on the other side of this one, but it's been a good two weeks leading up to the game and with the exception of a couple people (who would trash the Steelers and thier fans if they were playing satan) there really hasn't been a lot of trash talking and insulting between the fans on this board.

While the "dis-respect" card is being played by Seattle, the fact remains you were the best team in the NFC and deserve to be in the game today and have every shot in the world to win it. If that happens I'll be dissapointed but still be happy for the Seahawks fans (it's not like your from Cleveland or anything).


I probably won't be around much today as we have church early and a lot of people coming by soon after that to get ready and watch the game so I wanted to drop in and wish the Seahawk fans luck.


With the possible exception of Green Bay there isn't a town where the SuperBowl means more to it's fans than Pittsburgh. Certainally it would mean tons to the fans of Seattle as well, so good luck and enjoy it, you don't get a day like this very often.

Schouest, I know where you stand on this one since we both tore up our "Under 10.5 wins" tickets on the Stelers this year. I'm Fandicapping this one looking for a Steeler win.

Only the Seattle backers would say this. Certainly every call the Seattle backers complain about was close, but the right calls were made.

Ben had the ball across the line.

Yes, it was offensive interference, ticky tack, but still interference.

Yes it was holding when you have a guy around the neck FROM BEHIND!


The Steelers overcame numerous bad calls in the Indy game including one the league admitted was a mistake that absolutly kept Indy in the game!

The best team won.

Seattle had more yards.

If they played again, or a best of series like the World Series or NBA Playoffs I would bet on Seattle again. :violin:

Still, that night (the only night that counts) Pittsburgh was the best team.

Pittsburgh made plays and Seattle didn't.

Blazer, it's not often you find someone who loses a bet in a game like that and can say the things you posted there. Usually the finger pointing and ref blmaing is off the charts when you tear up a ticket like that.

Only thing I might disagree with is the part about if they played again you would be on Seattle agian. Pittsburgh played it's worst game in over two months and STILL came out 11 points ahead.

I don't think the Steeles turn in another effort like that if given the opportunity. This is one time I wish they would play best of three to decide things.

I honestly believe Pitt/under would have won and covered no matter what and they did it last night.....

Bad refing? well there were a few bad calls but i dont think thats what caused their loss.
