I see nothing about a golf course there...so I'm not sure it would be THE most interesting. Truly remarkable place, for sure.

It sounds like a movie (Jurassic Park VII - New Guinea!). It's hard to imagine there are still places in this world untouched by humans.

Wonder how long it will take them to destroy it now that they found it.
Have been in some pretty remote jungles and the smell of air in morning or after a rain is one of most pleasant--rates right up there with 1st cutting of grass in spring--on flip side if in jungle and smell rice and fish cooking-- not so pleasant :)
Have always thought my fav vacation would be to travel down Amazon river from start to finish,but this would be tops.
Not one of the ecological fanatics but am behind those protecting rain forests 110%
