The bookies should have realized how BAD this Ball State team was after they got their ass whooped by E. Michigan at home. Ball State was FAVORED by ELEVEN, and the lost the game straight up. Buffalo shouldn't have any problems going into Muncie and winning this game. Trust me, no students will be going to this s h i t game.

St. Joseph +8 5 Units

I'm still not sold on Nova. St. Joe catching eight at home is fine with me.

Kentucky - 2.5 5 Units

I have lost a lot of money on this turd team, but they are playing better. Only giving up 2.5 at home I'll take my chances.

hey, just wanted to let you know since i am a st joes alum that the game is being played at the palestra with 50 % nova fans & 50 % sju fans. it will be a really wild crowd tonight but i actually like nova to cover. if st joes isn't hitting at least 40 % 3's it's gonna be a real long game for the hawks, good luck though.

i'm not convinced on either side of st joes and nova... st joes is very streaky, as is nova... but, villanova, historically, shoots TERRIBLY at the palestra. (where most big 5 games are played). both nova and st joes are 3-0 in big 5 matchups this year (joe is 4-0 i think, playing drexel additionally), so, whoever wins this game is the 'big 5 champion' which is something that i believe means more to st joes and villanova...

i'm a huge nova fan, and will be at the game tonight, courtside, but... not gonna bet them. if anything, i'd bet the joe to cover... but, i'll probably just stay away.

i tend to think it may be more like 75-25 split... favoring st joes... when i was at the temple game on new years eve, it was definitely heavy on temple.

but, we'll see, it isn't a far trip for nova fas, so, they'll definitely be there.

well nova got 50 % of the tickets, we'll see if they go to the game & actually make some noise. nova's fans make about as much noise as lasalle fans. i was looking at the under 133 but if st joes hits some 3's it will push it over the total. maybe a 2nd half play after i see how they are shooting.

chet stachitas is their main 3 pt shooter. he has games where he hits 6/7 and games where he'll go 1/10. They've struggled a bit with the 3's this year but have guys that are streaky shooting them. On any given night this team could score 80 if they're hot and 40 if they're cold. they are the definition of streaky. St joes usually plays well at the palestra as it is their home away from home. This is their 6th game of the year at the palestra and their only defeat was against ohio state who shot a ridiculous % that day. I just don't see them matching up well with nova tonight.

Looking at the stats, neither team appears to shoot very well, especially in recent games. Each team is at 44% for the year and roughly 40% in their last 5 games. I was going to take the over, but am going to pass.
