I dont give a shit about Pittsburgh or Seattle, but I do find it a bit odd that the NFL would allow a member of the SUPER BOWL officiating crew to be from one of the cities represented by the 2 teams invovled.

The ref who grew up in Pittsburgh as a Steeler fan, according to his high school yearbook, recently moved from Pitts & now lives in Toledo, Oh.

He was the ref who made the PI call on Djax to nullify the what would have been the opening TD of the game.

Just my opinion, but he shouldnt have been on the crew for the game.

I read this a few hours ago and could not believe it.They were letting a self described Pittsburg fan referee a Steelers game and allow a Steelers db to talk him into a call like that. Its beyond belief.

Sounds like they have a problem on thier hands. This from the crew who censored "Start me Up" a song that's been played 5 million times. Man, what a step backward.
