Between Green Bay and Iowa City
OUTRIGHTS:

Nick Dougherty(28/1) e.w. @ Bet365

Adam Scott(14/1) e.w @ Bet365

Peter Lawrie(150/1) e.w. @ Bet365

- - The continent and hacked odds can't dissuade me that this week #69 Nick possesses big fight and sufficient game to push throughout for the high finish needed to climb to #64 or even #65 in the World Rankings and a trip to La Costa (and a fanciful wager there . . .) . . . I wish I knew more about the course (i.e. European Tour Weekly, at least) and this week's new configuration (resort/member elements with some unappealing or irksome Graham Marsh quirks is the best I can piece together) to help sort through some reasons in my notes and in my head for liking the chances of Michael Campbell, Richard Green, Adam Scott and Nick O'Hern; notwithstanding the speculative pros and cons of a pairing with Dougherty, I ended up favoring a focused champion and Butch Harmon pupil that should be pushing forward with some strengths that recently appeared in evidence to me . . . A number of little things had me sitting back and believing a 250/1 price was too high on Lawrie last week, and now have me stepping up and believing 150/1 is too high a price this week.

Cheers, redsfan!
